i really like her accent, makes what she is saying seem so much more interesting :)
This is pretty basic math, but she moves through it smoothly and at a nice pace.
Good work :) A+ for Dr. Komarova
No this isn't basic math.
SKYNET #2025 it’s pretty basic but just hard for most to follow
john lenny So not basic then. If it was basic most people could follow it. This is pretty advanced for most people.
She's a very good teacher too.
Basic? Do you know it scoober? Please enlighten us.
英語が分かりやすい。いい授業でした。ありがとうございました。
Amazing. I'm 16 yr old and am a high school student but we never had a thing like this in my school but I can understand it because of her flawless explanation. I'm literally fascinated and inspired doing math calculation just by listening to her very good explanation. (Around of applause)

American education needs more than applause. Thank you UC Irvine; you nailed it. This comment is from a “Hindu” man whose name is Gautam Tolat.
Perfect.
Excelente Maestra. Muchas gracias por sus clases.
Ma inclin in fata fiecarei explicatii, care devine o hrana aproape sacra pentru mine, precum ma inchin in fata fiecarei felii de paine pe care o mananc.
thank you!!
She is intelligent, have knowledge about the subject she is teaching, expresses well
Arjun Swamy knowledge, but teaching is bad. Too reliant on notes
their response at 46:30 is hilarious. you can make out audible exasperations like "Jesus!"
I learn easy. Good. Thanks
She explains very well, the shape of the classroom it’s unusual though
Thanks!

It seems that your Math professor is dumb
are you serious ?
Yeah, I’m used to smaller ones
Hahahaha i don’t even remember this hahahaha
@@alexxbuzzy ok I got it. and What about her explanation ? Do you really think she explains well ?
Why did I not have teachers like her when I was in college? :(

Gorgeous 🌷
I keep on wondering is it high school stuff or undergrad ? Wait it says from Irvine . So it must be undergrad. Just that it is pretty basic. We learnt these stuff in our high school. Or may be my memory is fading. But I would have expected these stuff to be high school thing.
Now I am her fan
Good
Mam i love mathematics
Similar word is wrongly used. Y doesn't she say directly prismatic shapes
Wow
Why is she in such a great hurry in her speech? Good teaching is to deliver at a pace that matches with the pace of the mind receiving it.
Her nature,,
She explained a simple mathematic, not necessary always to see her paper note.
The word she should have used is prism, not cylinder.
I think the teacher needs to differentiate cylinders and prisms!
Buena maestra, con Doctorado, necesita un par de años de experiencia para que suelte esos papeles que no deja de ver y copiar en la pizarra.....siga adelante.

It's cubic, not cyllinder...
Earlier generation and present generation there's lots of gap the way of teaching in classroom either in college or high school. Those days they used to say any topic at any time without looking any things, even formula, now just copying on board, what they copied on white paper, ofcourse those days blackboard with chalk, now white board with ink pen, 😂😂
Me pone un poco nervioso cuando quiere hacer las cosas como apurada y a la vez leyendo esa hoja, y encima habla muy trabado, eso resulta incómodo al escucharla.

The new generation of professors in the universities are like this girl. These kind of people spent most of their lives hanging out (drinking beer and enjoying parties). They didn't learn anything in academia (bachelor, masters and PhD).
Why do you think so?
@@poiofrito4722 Because of my own experience in academia. I studied for 10 years (2 bachelors and 1 master degree). I had some classes under professors like this gril and the classes used to be boring. I didn't learn anything during those classes and I had to learn things by myself.
i mean, math in general is just taking in information and that’s pretty much it. personally, it’s not as exciting as other courses or programs even if the math professor is humourous and fun. dont generalize every program to the one shown in this video, because the program u chose matters a lot on what you can expect in the course. if u chose any type of maths, then expect it to be similar to the lecture shown in this video. but yes, the type of professor u get matters a lot on how motivated you are to learn the subject that they are teaching
@@tomato-v8x math is just taking in information and thats it? Uh, no
...I watch this series. I took Calculus 30 years ago. The biggest change for me is the wardrobe of the Professor. I am sorry to notice that and I know I need to get with the times. But in my day the "men professors" wore white long sleeve shirt or light blue shirt and ties. The lady professors wore dress suits and blouses. But now it is so casual - and showing so much skin! BTW - this professor is a good instructor.
I understand. Despite the fact that this does not matter at all.
Спасибо Наталия. Отличное сравнение: для калифорнийцев это солнце, для русских это снег :)

Why you don't wear the drape clothes
Good presentation. It would be better if the instructor would dress professional.
this is not teaching, this is just putting all you need to say on the board and running endlessly.you could instead give them a book with your lectures in it. its even better than sitting in your class. i feel sorry for your students
numi numful there is no point going to class at this point honestly
I prefer when teachers teach like this. It’s easy for me to follow personally.

The teacher in this video needs to slow down a bit and give more inside scoop of what she is teaching. I didn’t learn enough from this video. This comment is from a “Hindu” man whose name is Gautam Tolat.
Why did you include your full name and the fact that you are a hindu man? Why is that relevant
