- Verify ownership of your site using the Google Search Console in three steps:
1. Add your site in Google Site Console (www.search.google.com/search-...)
2. Paste the code into your Webflow project settings
3. Verify

Why not uncheck the staging site? We don't need to monitor the staging, right? Anyway, I only published the production site when configuring.

Why did you do the Domain verification way? This is the older way to do it.
Choosing the Domain requires manually going in to add a TXT record in your DNS providers's DNS settings. While this option works, the experience is different for every domain provider. Having said that, it's a great option for those who are comfortable adding TXT records to their DNS settings.
So if you do it the Domain way what do you paste into Google Site Verification ID in Webflow?@@Webflow

Before I continue the lecture, I just want to pause and ask why it is legal and accepted across the web for Google to have such a monopoly on SEO that a course on SEO is effectively a course on Google.
