Kim's bass and vocal are so soulful. Their voices merge so perfectly, enabling them to blend a very wide spectrum of emotions, soft screaming and angry whispers... That's a big part of their sound.
I was at this concert. My one and only pixies live gig. I was 20. At the end of the gig one of the band (pretty sure it was Kim) ripped a copy of their set list that was taped to the floor and threw it into the crowd. I caught it. Friend of my girlfriend at the time offered me 20 quid for it after the show ... lol. Never even seen footage anywhere of this concert since then until today - 29 years later.
