Honestly this event actually screwed me hard. I chose the sunday ticket for the pikachu bali event and it literally made it so i lost 3 hours of the event exclusive boosted pokemon and had this research crap instead.. honestly pissed me off because the one shiny regional bird i came across despawned right when i clicked back on it with my screen recording going because the stupid event had just started
And of course they didn't make the Sunday event start 3 hours earlier or run 3 hours later smfh. Totally got stiffed once again by Niantic

Are the wild encounters attainable without spending any money? Do they have any increased shiny odds at all?
I'm trying to understand if there is any shiny bonus for free players
This full event is free, there is only an optional ticket. Only Pokémon from field research will have boosted shiny rates
@pogotrnr incorrect, ticket specifically says wild pokemon as well. Question is if it's all wild pokemon or is it just featured wild pokemon? Can shiny boost for wild pokemon even be partially specific?
Niantic also words things weirdly I don't think the wild feature pokemkn have that shiny boost
@rosshalligan4067 it literally says "Pokémon that appear during this Timed Research will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that can be encountered through Field Research during the event". Mentions both encounters and field research encounters, which sounds pretty straightforward to me 🤔
@@tonyfranco6155No bro, only field research will have shiny boost, since it is a RESEARCH day. The wild spawns are full odds

Wild pokemon won't be boosted

@@tonyfranco6155 r/thesilphroad has a few posts showing odds, Every other research day only has the research mons boosted, and they wouldn't just give 1/10 odds for wild pokemon.

You don't get ALL featured pokemon, you have to choose ONE OF the listed community day pokemon...NOT all of them
These 5 features Pokémon are all available in field research
You choose the one you want for the 1$ research, they will all be available in field research regardless of the paid ticket
Hes right I bought the ticket as well the 4 u have to pick one of them as for the wild Pokemon it only boost the shiny rate fam
You got all of them in the timed research for free. On one account I got 4 of 5 shiny for the timed prize then my first research reward I got the other shiny
