Similar to wrath pre patch, spamming the shit out of pvp (especially wintergrasp or whatever the weekly pvp event is) will be your best bet. The most recent pvp gear is similar in strength to somewhere in between heroic TOGC and normal TOGC. More than enough to help you level efficiently.

I'm not sure if they added it later or what, but in Vashjir (starting shipwreck) You could buy gear with a few pieces of gold that was very powerful. If you go there with wotlk leveling greens, the mobs are very hard before you gain pieces from quests. On the other hand this can be fun as your power level increases in such a noticeable way and you could group up with others to complete the few starting quests.
They added that in a later expac to allow people to queue up for random dungeon finder since it had an ilvl requirement.
can't speak for any other classes but holy pally boosted greens are so good, haste like crazy and thats what you need and resil means nothing it seems

Ive just boosted a Rogue to level 80 and now i only have 20g with 180 item level, i wanna get all my skills and my flying skills with gold but i dont know what to do??
How do i get my gold up???
Fastest way to get some gold would be to just start doing quests in icecrown/stormpeaks. But the boost should have given you all the skills?
Gear wise follow this video the cost of pvp gear has been reduced there's really nothing better you can do to get gear the set pieces are 270ilvl and the weapons are 277.
The sewers in dalaran sells the set piece and weapons go to SW/org for off-setpieces.
@@MetaGoblin i dont have the flying skills and i want to get the class glyphs but they cost 20g each, so can i start the icc quests with that ilvl? I have 9k hp
@@bloodmoontalon Tbh I would maybe just quest in grizzly hills instead there's less quests that need a flying mount and its also one of the best zones.
If you don't care about preparing the best quests for when cataclysm launches to get an exp boost you could also do the dungeon quests at the start of every dungeon. They should give you 50+ gold each.
You could also farm botanica for a solid hour it should give you 250-500g.
to future proof yourself for making gold you really need professions to do easy gold flips on the auction house every day. You can make 500-1000g per day in 10 minutes of crafting and flipping. Alchemy, enchanting and JC will likely be the best for making gold in cataclysm.

Throughout pre patch. I plan on leveling toons through prepatch. I already got my icc tier set on main and pretty much got nothing else to do but level. I also think many other people are also in that boat

Why converting into this wintergrasp currency? According to this blue post info all of those currencies should be converted automatically

Battleground Mark of Honor * 2.976
Wintergrasp Mark of Honor * 19.08
Stone Keeper Shard * 1.6
Venture Coin * 3
Spirit Shard * 1
I checked on the ptr that is up since yesterday and it didn't make any difference. All old pvp currencies were converted automatically into new honur points (according to the conversion rates given above. No need to fly to wintergrasp.
because Winergrasp Commendations don't get converted, it's a usable item that (currently) gives 150 honor each in cata.

aye I didn't realise farming honour points and badges would be such a bitch in prepatch lmao they really needed to reduce the costs

yes and no... it isnt hard to farm honor, but wrathful items often cost half honor cap (or more) each
So what the second that update comes through we instantly lose our ranked spells? Not going to lie I was so pumped until I found out about that! I am guessing that is 1 of the main reasons people claim it's not classic?
Well technically ranked spells are in the game they just get upgraded automatically. You still have to go to the trainer and buy the spell that you don’t have.
I would say the worse thing isn’t the rank spells but when you get the spells like mages don’t get food and water at like level 5 it’s like 50 something.
@@van7915ngl but that's doesn't really matter. Let me explain - when you lvling as mage lvl of your food/water spell always worse than same items that u can already buy from vendor. For example u can create 35 lvl water only on 45 lvl, but there is no point since u can already buy 45 lvl water and food from NPC which will be much stronger.
