They toured with Metallica many years ago, and are highly regarded and respected by many bands. Collabs with many too, as you know. They've been nonstop this year with touring all over the world , and it looks like next year they will be hyper busy again. Probably one of the busiest groups around. There's still a few dinosaurs who refuse to like them because they weren't around in the 70s , but thankfully , that mentality is dying away. They are now , of course a 3 girl group again, and Momoko kills it. As you'd expect .
I am 54 and Babymetal is the best thing to happen to rock in the last 20 years hands down. They just get better every year.
I'm 69 and I feel the same way. Just wish I could get some of my fellow boomers to take the leap. Best wishes.

Welcome back, great reaction as always.🤘🦊🤘'Metal Kingdom' is the intro and opening track on the album and of course they used it here for the big theatrical opening number in their comeback shows at the end of January, their first live shows in nearly 2 years.
Yes that was a throne Su was sitting on - at the start of the show the Fox Gates opened and 3 thrones came through, Su on one, Moa on another and the third was empty ... they filled that throne at their next concerts in April where Momoko was revealed as the new third member.
You still have more songs from this album to discover I think ....

"METAL KINGDOM" is the anthemic opening of their latest album, The Other ONE. And this music video combines the studio version of the audio over the visuals from the BABYMETAL Begins concerts held at Makuhari Messe in late January 2023.
You are right, their concerts, specially on arena-size formats in Japan are something else. It's like an whole experience. There is a lot of time, effort and money invested there. Although they actually don't need all that and they are touring with big success, sometimes in small venues where they can't even fit their video wall. But yes, we all want the Blu-rays of the big ones and go to see one of them in person at some point. 😁

January was Babymetal returns and the second set of shows later on was Babymetal begins with Momoko becoming a full member of the band which is why they were billing themselves as the new Babymetal

So cool to see you're back with more BM songs, I've been waiting this for so long and hope you can enjoy the full album songs b4 the year ends. Right now they're doing the 2nd round in Europe with the EU & UK Tour and making everyone rocking out with their new and classic songs.
This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch worldwide. Many others are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten apostles are holding crossiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol "OO" and is the title of the 4th album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny or Lance Of Longinus from Evangelion anime series, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱

Ending January at Makuhari Messe, they held two big live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they met up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. Those freaking cinematic drone shots make you feel like you're in a movie. There's also a dance choreo version performed first outside of Japan during this recent World Tour and some fans witnessed this even more gorgeous performance, later they did that version in Japan but so far in the current EU tour they didn't play this but they did some surprising come back with Syncopation and Brand New Day.
This a live proshot version but with studio album sound, we already got a live sound version with the WOWOW broadcast and more recently with the released DVD/BD version of BM Begins TOO live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama and now with MomoMetal as an official member.🍑❤️
We got so many big news and announcements back then, a new official member was announced to come next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama, if you don't know MomoMetal was the one blessed by the Fox God as a new official member. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, they already debuted at Summer Sonic Festival and with new songs exclusive for them.

Thanks guys, great to see you back reacting to Babymetal again. Just to clear something up... Babymetal are three again and no Yui has not come back. What they have done is make one of the Avengers (Momoko) a full member of Babymetal. Now known as Momometal she is the second scream and dance alongside Moa. They made this change official during a concert over the weekend of April 1 and 2 of this year (2023). I recommend watching footage from the Babymetal Begins Clear Night concert of April 2 if you want to see Momometal in her first show as a full member of Babymetal.
Last September I took my 11 year old daughter to see Babymetal..Her very first concert! We had a blast as they put on an excellent live show!

those big stages are only in Japan - when the tour it's just them the band and lasers .
They have had concerts at Wembley Arena in the UK (2016) and at the The Forum in Los Angeles (2019).
Those were both big shows with more elaborate stages.
This was the show opener at Babymetal Returns in January this year. I was at this show and it was indeed spectacular. It was my first time seeing Babymetal live and it was both a surreal and overwhelming experience to see them in their full majesty.
I am a new sub and must say, you guys are one of, if not, the best reactors to babymetal songs. If you want a suggestion for another babymetal song, I recommend Divine Attack. Its my personal favorite off the new album. You guys will for sure enjoy it. I will have to go and check out your other reactions to other bands.
This song was epic. I was thinking the same rhing hollywood. I was thinking the final build up cutscene in a game like skyrim or something.

Hey guys, great reaction! To answer your question If Babymetal toured with Iron Maiden? Yes they did. They opened for them back in 2017, i believe it was. It was for Iron Maiden's Book of Souls Tour. I'm pretty sure the lineup was

Awesome reaction as always. Metal Kingdom is one of the most epic songs in my opinion. There's a video of it from "The Other One - Clear Night" where all three girls were sitting on the thrones at the beginning. Also an absolutely mindblowing performance.
Saw them last night in Berlin for the first time live and still haven't realized that it really happened. It was such an amazing and overwhelming show! During Babymetal Death and Gimme Chocolate I just stood there like an opossum with my mouth open, because I couldn't handle that the girls are really standing right in front of me, just a few meters away.
Just when you thought you were out....they pulled you back in!!
I saw them live in New York City back in September...and it was AMAZING!! Listening to Su-Metal sing live was the closest I've ever gotten to having a "Religious Experience" and I'm an atheist.

Nice reaction. I was at this live concert and it was first time they played this song live. We didnt really know what to so everyone was chanting and doing the fox sign. It was funny because we all knew what to do for the other songs, but when this song started it was amazing...blew me away

A lot of this song brings to mind Daft Punk and the "Tron: Legacy" soundtrack with Gregorian chant. But, in my humble opinion, if someone had played this for me without me knowing who it was, I would have never guessed it was BABYMETAL. It doesn't sound like BABYMETAL: where's the metal? Where's the kawaii? WHERE'S THE FUN?
BABYMETAL made metal fun - not any more. Being kawaii and metal was what made BABYMETAL BABYMETAL! It's seems to me that they're trying too hard to make "epic" music when they need to get back to what made them great: songs that made you bang your head with a big, sh*t-eating grin on your face.
Overall, "The Other One" isn't a bad album - any other J-metal band would love to own it - but it doesn't feel like a BABYMETAL album. Su-metal has a wonderful voice but, In my opinion, “The Other One” shouldn't have been a BABYMETAL album; it should have been a Suzuka Nakamoto solo album featuring Moa Kikuchi. But that probably wouldn't have sold as many albums.
One can only hope that this was a bump in the road (even great groups have had less than stellar songs and albums) and, with the release of "Metali!!", they'll get their kawaii back. 🦊🤘
