- In today's episode of The Average Garage I fix the "ugly" Pajero Sport tail lights in a 5 minute video that divides the world LOL
The wrap was removed immediately after filming as I prefer the stock look, don't get upset.
Note: Check your local laws to see if modifying or partially covering a tail light is legal.

Have a lineup of six or seven SUV’s all the same colour. Get a group of people to stand 400m behind and point out which brands are which! The ONLY one that you can pick every time is the PS. Embrace being different. I like standing out! Love my PS.

TAG, can I please ask you a none tail lights unrelated question? In the Shogun Sport (Pajero) owner's manual it says that if one tyre needs replacing, then ALL (!!) tyres needs replacing, due to a need to have broadly similar tread depths and wheel rotating speeds, etc. That's a big cost for most people. In your experience, is that really necessary? I guess if it is, then a regular 5 wheel rotation regime could help, ensuring all tread depths on all 5 tyres are kept pretty much similar, so as you could then put the brand new tyre on as a spare, use the old spare as usualm and pray you don't another unfixable puncture until after you've got a new set of tyres following normal wear.
It's not that critical mate. If you need to replace 2 tyres just replace 2 with the same size. Itll be fine unless you are changing brand and size. Some brands have taller tyres in the same sizing, but I've run 4 tyres with 2 at 20% and 2 at 80% tread wear and haven't had an issue

Is it possible to replace the reflector at the bottom with a after market brake light?? 🙏
The reflector in other countries is a rear fog lamp. It can be switched out but no point
Was considering this mod, then seen this video and the end result looked like a 3 way love child between a Honda BRV, Prado and early model Renault Duster😅

that looks so much better, fk the taillights are hideous, no one did any user feedback when they were designing those red smears
each to their own, they grew on me, but then again you don't look at them when your driving so doesn't bother me, i like standing out!

I didn't buy one of these because of those damned ugly lights. Mitsubishi make some nice cars, but man their "Voltron" kick is just embarrassing.
I reckon they're mint. It's one of the only cars that you can tell from a distance ar night and easily distinguish.
Also I think mitsy designed it while drinking haters tears 😂

Every one is entitled to an opinion. I reckon they look fine stock. But many get upset about it. The video has dome exactly what planned for it

Fairly below average wonky installation and cut too much off down the sides. Maybe try it before filming next time.
