@@gomessylvester205 Not really. What you saw in the 80s (and probably 70s and 60s also) you simply rarely see in the 2000s let alone that such charges are left without any penalty to thje offender (mostly a defender btw). Maradona was excellent at ducking charge after charge and only got hit seriously once by the Butcher of Bilbao, Andoni Goicoechea. In fact, yesterday on the Dutch tele there was a discussion on how defenders have changed their behaviour and are now going towards offenders with their hands on their backs in order to avoid penalties for instance. You can see that people walking with hands on their backs are hampered since our arms are there to give us maximum balance. Which is left now. And we could see how Messi slalomed through no less than four defenders all with their hands on their backs and barely touching hum, yet using apologetic gestures at the ref (I did not touch him!) in order to avoid a penaltykick. These gestures came even when Messi just went trhough like they weren't there, so he was not even remotely close to being fouled. Don't tell me that all this is due to Messi's great skills (which are undoubtedly true btw). this has all to do with a change in rules in which defenders are fouled far more often for far less than ever before.

Always had incredible short passing/first touch passing, especially with Xavi and Iniesta, but his improvement in his long passing and through balls has been astonishing. This might be the most astonishing video on CZcams. Every young footballer should see this to understand the creative limits one can reach in this sport.
2:06 just watch this, I can't explain it it's so unreal, I can never understand how anyone can be compared to such a visionary and master codebreaker, he can't be human
This is the thing with Messi. He makes these passes so often each match. With a lot of legendary players I grew up watching, they didn't make their amazing passes continuously multiple times in every single match. While Messi did. I think that a lot of people still don't realize what kind of insane player Messi has been for more than a decade. A lot of legendary players maybe had a peak for 3 or 4 years and even in that peak they didn't showcase Messi's consistency and quality. People still trying to compare Messi with Ronaldo is also wild. With the goals there's a debate to be had. Ronaldo certainly is an incredible goalscorer, but with all the other aspects of the game Messi is just in a whole other league by himself. The mixture of Messi's vision, passing, assisting, ball control, agility and the way he can dictate the game is mindblowing. While Ronaldo is more of an end-point. You pass him the ball and he scores. While Messi goes through a whole defense by himself or also makes others play better.
By far, the best attribute of his current game, and my favourite attribute as well. His playmaking is just beyond imagination. Imo, he is one of the 2 best goalscorers of all time (along with Cristiano), the best dribbler of all time (followed by Inter R9 and Maradona) and one of the best playmakers ever (along with Laudrup, Maradona, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta and Pirlo). How he has managed to keep all these aspects of his game at the very top for more than a decade is just beyond human understanding and beyond Science. Simply the GOAT. 🐐 🐐 🐐
@@mohibullahshahid6741 Is it though, Kroos, Modric, Xavi, Iniesta, Zidane, Ozil, Pirlo all have less assists than Suarez, does that mean Suarez is a better playmaker than everybody in the list? Playmaking means dictating the game, linking up play, creating and finding space, ofcourse I don't expect a Ronaldo fan to understand things which actually require watching football instead of the score sheet but atleast try, its more enjoyable that way
He is the best passer, dribbler, creative playmaker and finisher I have ever seen. Astounding. Most players don't even see these kinds of passes, he plays multiple every game like this. Genius.
Messi is a complete team player... He can score, dribble, provide unreal passes, assists & even he's also a playmaker... You can't find so many dimensions of gameplay in one single player without Messi...
Never ever get tired of watching any Messi videos, this passing one is exceptional. That outrageously amazing penalty pass is a classic, you'll never see that done again.

The best dribbler by far not even close The best playmaker he can run the game The best passer incredible Not to mention the best goal scorer What else do you need to be the goat
you guys know whats the most shocking about this? there is a maybe handful of players on the entire earth who could claim they are able of playing passes similar to this man (kdb, modric etc.) and each of these individuals have their passes as their main quality, but for messi? its literally just average among his other talents you think his passes are what makes him special? no you think its his precise shots? no is it his dribbling? no his overview over the playing field? neither his freekicks? still no he is literally either the best in the world, or among the top 5 players in the world in each of those categories and no footballer in the next 100 years will ever be as complete as this guy if you were asked to point out what his best asset is, you simply wouldnt be able to because he is atleast absolute world class in every single one of it all the other football legends have 1-2 assets you can point at where they were amazing, but its never going to be as complete as with messi
Many great players came ...and many more to come in future .... But you will never see an Artistic Footballer like Messi ... Becoz he not only played on the field .. He taught how to paint an art of football on the field ... A Genius You may or may not call him GOAT .... but for me he is Greatest Ever played ... Becoz he is not a person....... he is an Emotion (immortal)....

he best player but i never agree about goat in football because that bullshit and Ronaldo fan is most stupid fan their say Ronaldo playmaker that most stupid thing i ever heard
I noticed that too, i think it's because as he got older he's not runnimg and dribbling that fast anymore, so he kind of focused more on that side of him who can do brilliant passes and who can be a playmaker as well as it can be a forward who scores.
Messi is a cyborg that calculates in a fraction of seconds the power, the empty spaces and the direction. Imagine this, this is messi. I would like an analysis of his mind in the moment before the pass
CR7 can play like good striker, but messi is better striker & not enough, sometime he can play like ronaldinho, but can copy pirlo style or iniesta mode, even maradona.. And he also can help defender.,its great messi..!! your not the striker only.. Bravo..
He cannot do what Maradona did. He cannot emulate Maradona. Maradona was much more a fighter, had better skills, better feeling for the ball, had much more variety in passing, in wrongfooting oponents, in shooting freekicks, in accelearation and in taking massive attacks on the legs (Messi never gets them) and all that on worse pitches and with far worse teams. People here seem to be so eager to declare one of their own (same generation most of the time the GOat). But I think they only saw some clips of Maradona after seeing Messi and just cannot admit their personal idol while really good was outmatched by this man that routinely won matches on his own and routinely started rushes and dribbles well on his own half. Only to be stopped by fouls.
I still can't understand how people have audacity to say Ronaldo is better than him Ronaldo is not better than him but his mentality is that puts him sometimes ahead of messi but he is not better than messi❤️❤️❤️😭
He really is a freak and I am not exaggerating when I say we will never see the like of him ever again, I just wish it was 2010 so that we can enjoy it a bit longer but he can still play for another 3-4 years with his football IQ, he can run the game without running.

Don't compare an outline finisher with pure magical footballer

As if the commentator say that is unfair to have Messi on that situation 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
This might be the most astonishing video on CZcams. Every young footballer should see this to understand the creative limits one can reach in this sport.
Messi, Neymar, Suárez, how happy they were playing together. So amazing
2:06 just watch this, I can't explain it it's so unreal, I can never understand how anyone can be compared to such a visionary and master codebreaker, he can't be human
9:19 MOTHER OF VISION !!
A well-practiced run-and-pass, actually.
You will never find this kind of compilation clips from C. Ronaldo
He's the genius of football ❤
I love the chemistry between messi and suarez. What a great team players!!
Underrated comment ❤️
Barcelona helped him keep all this attributes of the game. The play revolves around him afterall
my friend calling cristiano a goalscorer is outrageous. he is the highest UCL assister of all time 2nd highest assister overall of all time
@NMA 55 NIDHIN JOBI messi fans change goalposts when talking abpout playmakng
@@mohibullahshahid6741 Is it though, Kroos, Modric, Xavi, Iniesta, Zidane, Ozil, Pirlo all have less assists than Suarez, does that mean Suarez is a better playmaker than everybody in the list? Playmaking means dictating the game, linking up play, creating and finding space, ofcourse I don't expect a Ronaldo fan to understand things which actually require watching football instead of the score sheet but atleast try, its more enjoyable that way
His vision is just beyond the imaginable 🐐
His passing is satisfying to watch
He is the best passer, dribbler, creative playmaker and finisher I have ever seen. Astounding. Most players don't even see these kinds of passes, he plays multiple every game like this. Genius.
He might end up as the greatest playmaker of all time, greatest dribbler of all time, and greatest goalscorer of all time.
this is something you can't simply "learn" imo. He was born with such vision, instinct and the ability to read the match.
Messi is a complete team player... He can score, dribble, provide unreal passes, assists & even he's also a playmaker... You can't find so many dimensions of gameplay in one single player without Messi...
Perfect at everything.
I don’t get how could somebody manage to be the best goal scorer and playmaker at the same time this little man is not a human🤦🏽♂️‼️
Most complete player
Messi is from another galaxy
Never ever get tired of watching any Messi videos, this passing one is exceptional.
That outrageously amazing penalty pass is a classic, you'll never see that done again.
Video needs to be updated with his brilliant assist on the first goal against the Netherlands in the 2022 WC.
He is great! We should be happy that we are able to see him live! I will tell my kids of him... But they won't have seen him ever. This amazing Player!
The best dribbler by far not even close
The best playmaker he can run the game
The best passer incredible
Not to mention the best goal scorer
What else do you need to be the goat
Who is here after argentina win the world cup
Me right now.
you guys know whats the most shocking about this? there is a maybe handful of players on the entire earth who could claim they are able of playing passes similar to this man (kdb, modric etc.)
and each of these individuals have their passes as their main quality, but for messi? its literally just average among his other talents
you think his passes are what makes him special? no
you think its his precise shots? no
is it his dribbling? no
his overview over the playing field? neither
his freekicks? still no
he is literally either the best in the world, or among the top 5 players in the world in each of those categories and no footballer in the next 100 years will ever be as complete as this guy
if you were asked to point out what his best asset is, you simply wouldnt be able to because he is atleast absolute world class in every single one of it
all the other football legends have 1-2 assets you can point at where they were amazing, but its never going to be as complete as with messi
Yeah, right? but I think Messi 's biggest attribute is his dribbling skills
Fantastic video and amazing Messi!
When you find out Messi has lost more Ballon d'Or titles than he has won you begin to realize how underrated he really is
Definition of talent passion n hardwork.
His passing accuracy so lethal and no weapon still against this…no body can stop him from such deadly passes

Es lo mejor que he visto jugando al fútbol. Lionel Messi es sencillamente increíble e insuperable controlando un balon y haciendo arte y poesía con el. Sé que nunca volveré a ver un jugador igual que él.
One of the greatest passers the game has ever seen, one of the greatest dribblers the game has ever seen and one of the greatest goalscorers the game has ever seen.Messi is the complete package.Undisputed GOAT 🐐👑
he best player but i never agree about goat in football because that bullshit and Ronaldo fan is most stupid fan their say Ronaldo playmaker that most stupid thing i ever heard
He has eagle 🦅 vision 🤩👏🏻
Absolutely amazing!
His passes have got better as he has got older. Before 2015 he was good but only at short passes. Since then he's been able to provide long passes
I noticed that too, i think it's because as he got older he's not runnimg and dribbling that fast anymore, so he kind of focused more on that side of him who can do brilliant passes and who can be a playmaker as well as it can be a forward who scores.
@@EN_02 That and since Xavi and iniesta left, he’s been the only playmaker on the team
actually i think 2015 was the year he started doing those long midfield type passes
Messi is a cyborg that calculates in a fraction of seconds the power, the empty spaces and the direction. Imagine this, this is messi. I would like an analysis of his mind in the moment before the pass
You can do a whole movie on his passing skills simply one of the best passers of all time your vids are amazing btw you deserve way more subs
CR7 can play like good striker, but messi is better striker & not enough, sometime he can play like ronaldinho, but can copy pirlo style or iniesta mode, even maradona.. And he also can help defender.,its great messi..!! your not the striker only.. Bravo..
he doesn't just can play like ronaldinho, he plays like him in dribbling
We won’t see a player like this man again
This guy can pass, shoot, dribble, make others score the complete and one and only Messi
Messi, Iniesta y Xavi son los maestros de los pases. Excelente video brother
Pra mim é o melhor camisa 10 de todos os tempos, o melhor jogador do mundo Lionel Messi 👏👏👏👏
