- The Kogi, nestled into the vast Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Mountains along the northern coast of Colombia, are one of the few remaining intact civilizations in the Americas. Their ancient practices of communication with the natural world are used to help maintain the delicate balance of life.

@@jadez.p.4719 Because they don't live away from modern villages or without contact, in fact some of them even use mobile phones... They visit the lowland villages regularly and that's all they needed to spread the virus into the lands.

Why do they lose their teeth ????
They almost constantly chew a mash of seashells and coca leaves in their adult lives. This is created with the help of their poporo which they carry around with them everywhere they go. Leaves are carried in their bags which they always carry as well.
They should be left alone
