Another important VERY impressive skill feat you can give goku is Cell he literally has the skill of every fighter except for gohan and cell was stronger faster and goku was still able to keep up with him because of how skilled he is

It’s not as much of a skill feat for Goku, Cell held back to match or just be slightly above Goku since Cell thought that was the only and final fun fight he would have against the ‘strongest fighter’

Goku would 100% win hand to hand equal stats. Goku literally mastered a technique the gods of destruction couldn't in millions of years in just 48 minutes and improved it beyond what those gods who tried to use it for millions of years could even dream of.
A much more fair fight would be who would win equal stats with all there techniques.

The thing that should clearly turn this well into Gokus favor, even if you ignore the proficiency he already has in combat, is the fact that Gokus ability to adapt to his opponents has been shown to be simply broken, with him learning entire martial arts, developing and mastering techniques, or even figuring out how to combat time travel through pure skill, literally within seconds or minutes max. Gokus ability to adapt is just wild, and is why he's a genuine prodigy, even though he is a low class saiyan, even without his crazed work ethic. He's a certified combat genius with the ability to turn the tables through his raw talent in this department in a way other characters in fiction often only have when it's portrayed as some special ability or power, but that's just plain old Goku.

People forget that goku knows like a butt ton of different martial arts from Roshi who himself knew pressure points, grapples, a lot of Eastern martial arts and lots of western too. Plus, if you count it as an ability, he can mimic anything he sees once so he could pick up naruto's taijutsu pretty quickly

Goku is insanely underrated as a martial artist. Not a single character in Naruto, be it guy or lee, compares. He’s more skilled than Baki or Yujiro, mastered every earthly martial art and several divine martial arts. Not to mention ultra instinct, which he could use in this scenario, since it is not a transformation but a state of mind. While it may get lost in the sauce of power levels and transformations, Goku is a martial artist.
He’s not more skilled than Baki or Yujiro and Goku hasn’t mastered every martial art or divine martial arts. Goku’s current style is specifically Kame style taught to him by Roshi added with Whis’ principles of ‘Angelic’ fighting but not his actual fighting style
Ever since OG DB, Roshi stated that he didn’t teach Goku or Krillin new styles but refined what they already learned. Same goes for all of Goku’s other masters all the way up to Whis, who didn’t teach Goku a new martial art but rather principles of Angelic fighting and an outline that leads to UI. Which in the Granolah arc is said to be inferior to Goku using his own style/emotions and applying UI principles to it instead of Angelic style of fighting
The skill ceiling for verses like Baki, Kenichi, Kengan etc is much higher than Dragon Ball, which treats instinctive reaction as a beyond godly and angelic technique, while it’s more like an ability that Kenichi mastered and surpassed as a student in his series and isn’t anything wild in Baki either

And Goku’s style is the Kame style, which isn’t all martial arts in the world in one, it’s a specific style that Goku was only taught by Grandpa Gohan and was the basis of his martial arts for the rest of the series. Roshi and the other masters never taught Goku hand to hand combat techniques aside from Whis, and Whis only taught Goku principles, not entirely new fighting styles

Master Roshi in a few guides/material as well as the manga is stated to be a god of martial arts above Gohan. Both Roshi and Gohan have similar statements of knowing every martial art on the planet.
By the time Goku was a kid he had ‘no weak points’ and Roshi had nothing left to teach him. Plus he’s also stated to now be the best/greatest martial artist on the planet.
Sure with ki he can sense stuff, but he is able to hyper analyze his opponents like with Hit or even Tien. In both scenarios he has layered predictions and such.
Not to mention he can use UI in base which Whis states is a state of mind that has the body move before signals can reach the brain and whatnot

Not to mention during the Baba Saga, a 12 Year Old Kid Goku was stated to have a fighting stance that possesses no openings. Given Adultku is superior in every aspect to Kid Goku in both BIQ and AP, the fact that he was able to match someone of Roshi’s skill if not exceeding such is a testament to his BIQ. Ntm adding on what Toaster said in the video, Goku could predict the movements of someone who can literally skip through time and could mimic various fighting styles/techniques from multiple characters almost flawlessly. 50 Years of practice was learned in a few seconds for Goku.

If Goku vs Naruto was made officially, it needs to be drawn by the Naruto animation team, in terms of martial arts. And weapons, like the Powerpole and the Kunai would be used as well. Not just fast paced, vanish, whoosh whoosh kind of fight

After having spent a few years in Japan and understanding a lot of the language, particularly being there when DBS Episodes 109-110 came out… Migatte no gokui isn’t a technique or a transformation per say, but rather a state of being. Meaning that Son Goku doesn’t transform, rather his mind is completely emptied therefore making his body move on its own and refines itself through his Saiyan genetics. To understand the deeper parts of Dragon Ball you need to have a good understanding of Journey to the West and eastern culture in general. Great video as per usual though!

From what we’ve seen, Naruto, while strong, isn’t especially dexterous with his taijutsu. In fact, he’s rather sloppy. Even in Shippuden, we see him be tripped up and his guard broken easily by people on his level like Sasuke or Madara and in the original Naruto, his Taijutsu feats were just thuggish punches and kicks paired with Shadow Clone spam. Goku is an actual Martial Artist who has shown creativity and strategy in attacking from multiple angles and in unpredictable ways in various points in Dragonball/Z, and GT.
He's taijutsu got better in boruto

goku trained under and learned pretty much every martial art from roshi and grandpa gohan. and during one of the tournaments, goku is stated to have known over 7 or more different styles of karate which is a lot on top of being a master of kung fu

Goku was trained by literal gods of martial arts. He lives longer than Naruto, which means experiencing more battles to sharpen his skills. Lets not forget Goku is capable of copying techniques in moments by just seeing them one time (him using the Kamehameha after seeing Roshi do it which took him majority of his life to master). The fuck is the Ninja boy who spams clones and Rasengans gonna do against a man trained by multiple gods and gained all of their knowledge for battle.
Again you are bringing gokus power into this. Dragon ball lost the concept of unique fighting techniques and started relying on the person with the bigger power level wins.
I am not saying goku is not skilled but people like baki and yugiro will destroy him in hand to hand combat because goku mostly relies on his strength not his technique.

fun side fact: Ultra instict is a real thing you might have even experienced it yourself for example when you space out and something like a ball is coming at you and your body automatically catches it even if you didnt even try to do so or when a dish drops and you catch it mid air automaticly without really doing so and then you cant replicate it because you realise what you did that was essentially what ultra instict is in dbs except in dbs its more like a form/technique that makes you able to do it consciously

Not ti mention Goku has shown to adapt and grow within just a few minutes.
A very recent example is with the fight against Granolah, after struggling against the pressure point attacks that's on some gentle fist type shii Goku ends up adapting to it by moving his pressure points and such around so Granolah can't hit them.
Then the obvious ones like Hit who can time skip yet Goku in 1 match was able to adapt and predict the time-skip...

Kaioken, Ultra Instinct and Frog Kata are martial arts by context and official guidelines. So regardless of their powers, Goku has a counter to everything Naruto has by default thanks to Kaioken and UI. Frog Kata mixed with natural energy would be a similar result to Kaioken, but has a major drawback in that gaining too much natural energy will result in turning into a frog. Kaioken has its own drawbacks but Goku has mastered the technique to where the drawbacks are nonexistent. And even then, UI is just a better version in every way.
Again, these are martial arts by context and official translations, so they should have them at their disposal. Even if you were to deny them these, Goku has way more experience in multiple different disciplines beyond Kaioken and UI. So he’d win regardless.
Define too much "natural chakra" because im pretty sure Naruto can take about limitless amount of it as Kurama himself while gathering nature chakra said he overdid himself when he gave all of it to Naruto

OG Dragon Ball:
Yamcha in the OG Dragon Ball anime says "Son Gohan is such an expert that for every martial art there is, he has no equal!"
Master Roshi when disguised as Jackie Chun easily managed to counter a martial artist who was level 30 black belt in Kenpo.
Training with both Korrin and Mr. Popo heightened Goku's perception.
Goku scales to these skill levels as in the Saiyan saga Goku is introduced as "the greatest martial artist the world has ever known."
Dragon Ball Z:
King Kai mentions that the 158 days he would spend training Goku would be equivalent to a few thousand years of what Goku could've accomplished training on Earth.
The narrator says that Goku honed his power and skills while training for Namek, in the HBTC, and in the otherworld.
Naruto being a ninja isn’t an actual feat because real ninja back in the day(if they existed) they weren’t meant to be fighters they were meant to collect information and if they were caught they could use “ninjutsu” to escape

idk if we've seen naruto ever not use chakra, at most, we could say he didn't use any when he and sasuke were nearly dead in their final fight, even then it was probably pumping through him, while goku can naturally toggle on and off KI enhancement to train.
Also not to mention that in dbz martial arts are so advance that there are 30 level in kenpo, which in our world is 10 maximum, and this is super basic for them

@@wukongisas9564 Unless I am remembering things wrong, Shadow clone wasn't so much hard to learn because it was complicated, it was hard to use because it drained enough energy to kill you unless you had the ridiculous reserves Naruto had. Rasengan as well, he did not master such a technique immediately, he used a forbidden spell (Shadow Clone) to give him a HUGE advantage in creating it as one clone circulated it, while the main body maintained it. At no time (at least before Shippuden, I gave up before that during the filler marathon that was the second half of the original show) was it suggested Naruto was much more skilled than others. Almost everything he did was using his absurd chakra reserves to muscle through techniques. Now some of his issues with learning were shown to also be due to those reserves making it difficult to finely control power, but during the original show he couldn't beat ANY of the other ninja of his generation through skill. He always won through a combination of tricks (which I will give him some credit for based off of the philosophy shown for the village,) and Brute force/shadow clones (which, as mentioned before, were only special because of the huge chakra requirement.) Straight technique ALWAYS put him behind the others at least until Shippuden.
Goku on the other hand has been shown to be a MONSTER of technique and combat learning from day 1. He sees something once or twice, and he figures out how it was done, what its weaknesses are, and how to improve it. Roshi was supposed to be THE master of martial arts and Ki when Goku met him. He said he trained for DECADES before he learned to fire a kamehameha wave. Goku saw it ONCE and successfully copied it. NUMEROUS times during the original series alone, he saw an opponent use a skill once, and then beat that foe using that foes own technique.
I am sorry, but as far as pure martial arts are concerned it is not even a fight. Goku wins by a LANDSLIDE if there are no stat differences/'supernatural' powers.

Based on arbitrary skill scaling, Goku should stomp in a martial arts only match. Goku in DB and to an extent Super gets a lot of skill feats and scaling to extremely skilled fighters. He’s a high tier martial artist when talking the context of shonen
Naruto in terms of hand to hand skill is more like a mid tier martial artist. He’s a trained martial artist but he relied heavily on clones…essentially jumping, until Boruto era. He’s relative to his Big 3 contemporary Ichigo in terms of martial arts
Ichigo has more combat skills, like a knowledge of striking and grappling, analytical prediction that doesn’t rely on his forms or powers, and Instinctive Reactions which also doesn’t rely on forms or powers, and similar to someone like say…Garou, Ichigo canonically grows in battle in terms of both stats *and* skill
Naruto lacks analytical prediction and his sensory abilities without his forms, but has the edge in practical H2H experience. Even though he relies on clones as a crutch, each clone that dieshas their combat experience from the encounter transfer to Naruto himself, and (with clones), he’s skilled enough to somewhat fight off Sharingan users as of the end of the war and by himself as of Boruto

I am not trying to downplay these feats but the difference is that Goku would have done it without any instruction or training plan or any form of help.
He mastered the Kamehameha by simply watching for example.
Finally someone who recognizes Ichigo's skill. You also forgot to mention he duels people who have hundreds of years of experience and who have learned thousands of sword styles or have fought people who have, and also not just by stat stomping.

Naruto as an adult has a height advantage but Goku's most likely got him on weight, I mean compare each of their musculature. Also gotta consider each of their overall goals. Naruto wanted to be Hokage...which he achieved. Goku trains to fight and get stronger, constantly. It's almost all he ever does. Naruto is strong but he's not constantly, every day, putting himself through the stuff Goku does in pursuit of strength. Fighting is all he thinks of just about. Goku would, if they were lowered to normal human capabilities (no Chakra or ki enhancing everything), win. He'd probably take a bit of time to gauge how Naruto fights then get serious as he usually does.

People like to downplay Goku’s prowess as a martial artist, because he doesn’t have 100 named techniques, or doesn’t use a specific martial art like some like Baki does. But Goku has his own fighting style and was even told to do this by Roshi. Having more named techniques doesn’t automatically make you a better fighter than someone who has few or even no named techniques. Also, if Goku gets the base version of Kaioken (not Blue Kaioken) or any version of UI, then he should have an easier time winning.
