I think because of culture and expectations. BMWs are performance cars, yes, but they are more luxury cars first whereas American muscle cars are performance cars first and luxury is just a nice bonus if it doesn't add too much to the price
I still don't get how the camaro ss manual comes with tremec transmission stock when its made by Ford but you have to spend 70k plus on a mustang to get a tremec transmission again thats made by Ford it makes no sense..
