I am from Malaysia but i am in love with indonesian vocalists/singers ever since. They are genius. Been to tulus, afgan, cakra khan and judika’s concerts. IMHO, If i were to compare with malaysian music scene, Indonesians are on another level in lots of aspects. They have a lot of musical talented personalities.

Most of Indonesian singers are better when singing live than recording (coz they can do riffs n runs here n there or whatever they want 2 show off 😊). Famous singers like Afgan, Tulus, Judika, Raisa, Isyana, etc made most of their money from off-air live performances (corporate/government events, crazy rich weddings or private parties), so yes live performances are the standard for the industry here

Isyana is musical genius, consider she's not even 30 but her knowledge for music is maybe beyond some artist half her age.... She is totally incredible

Kaleb J has RnB genre music. His music is similliar vibes with Glen Fredly’s music. And i think that many indonesian people “maybe” he can be “the next Glen Fredly”.

when judika and his wife were not married yet, her parents didn't give them permission to have a relationship, but judika's love isn't easy to broke anyway, so he didn't surrender and fight for her, he proves to her parents that he's the right man for her, when they finally got her parent's approvement and got married, he made that song and gave the CD as a souvenir at his wedding party. btw judika's wife is an actress and model, she was the winner of "puteri Indonesia" - translated "indonesian Princess" which is a beauty pageant in indonesia, it's like a little version of miss universe.

I've joined Tulus live concert before and it was so unbelievable! His voice has no difference with studio record one, so talented!
Isyana & Yamaha Music has a long history, she competed in Yamaha Electone Competition since very young, regionally & internationally. Even her mother formerly was a piano & electone teacher in one of Yamaha Music School in my city. So, Isyana first got the musical influence from her mother who teaches her piano & electone. The musical performance(especially classical performance) education she got from her study in NAFA (Singapore) & then continued to Royal College of Music in London (if I'm not mistaken, both are scholarships). I really want you to check out her classical vocal performance tho.. You already saw her in pop performance & other live performance..
