Any issues with the car being too loud there? I run my bikes there and love the track. I’m in Ohio and just got a 21 gt500. I want to run there and mid Ohio but want to make sure they won’t kick me out for being too loud.
It’s very close on some days and will blow sound on other days in stock form. It’s pretty easy to make it compliant. Hit me up on here or Instagram if you decide to come down and I’ll help you out.
Thanks! Yeah for this event I used 350R brakes and stock 19” 350R carbon wheels with 325’s in the rear, and 315’s up front. Getting more serious for this year. I had a set of 19x12’s made and we’re gonna run BIG tires! First event is Gridlife April 17th-18th. Stay tuned.

I'm based in the Philippines and my 500 is coming in q3! I do time attacks here and can't wait for that car to arrive. Been using a 2015 GT successfully and hoping to cut 5 secs with the 500 on a 3 mile course

@@svtdsm I'm just going to live vicariously through you guys for now lol. Do you think those gloc 16/12s bite stronger and withstand a higher temp than the stock ones? I use GLOCs on my GT as well. But I've been seeing 500 owners saying the stock pads are track worthy already (strong bite and no overtemp fading). What do you think?
@@redemption_gt500 stock pads are very good but I like a bit more bite when using Hoosiers. And for me, using the smaller gt350r brakes up front I definitely wanted a more aggressive pad.

You gotta talk ford performance into sending you out to the nordschleife to lay down a time in the 500 on their junket. 3 days of TF to practice in then set ur time and gtfod. Your driving style would work there. Something tells me it could break into the sub 7:15's in the right hands...
@@svtdsm u must ve seen the 1:33.8 it ran at Laguna seca in the motor trend coty and the 2:44.3 it ran at VIR for car n driver. How do you view those times ? Have you been plotting out ur Nordschleife attempt. In ur spec it'd run near 7:05 which would easily be the fastest 4000 lb car ever there...
I expected better lap times.. again not complaining but Andy Pilgrim did a 2.09.77 with a bone stock GT500. And that lap could ve been faster if Andy had not made some small mistakes.. still a 2:08.xx wud be the best stock GT500 can do. A Stock C7 ZR1 does 2:05.37 and stock 911 GT3 RS a whopping 2.03.49 making it the quickest stock NA car at NCM. Do with over 800 whp and weight reduction I expected better. That said the drive was awesome... maybe when U master that skill U could do sub 2.06s which I was expecting of this 500
Serious question... Do you have any idea who Andy Pilgrim is? If you do, the fact that you “expect” ANYONE is capable of matching or beating the times he does tells me you’ve probably never driven on a racetrack, and have definitely never experienced what a real pro driver can do. That being said, we beat Andy’s time by 2.2 seconds with better tires, and about an extra 100rwhp. Weight savings was only about 30lbs after the cage install and I assure you I’m more than 30lbs heavier than Andy. I believe with Andy driving my car it definitely is a solid 2:05 car but the level of commitment and skill at that kind of pace truly deserves BIG respect.

That’d be like if you won a dunk competition and I was like, meh... I expected better since Jordan dunked one from the free throw line... All seriousness though, I plan to continue working on my ability, and hope to one day soon be at the pro level. I’ll actually be working with Andy, and other pros in this next year.

Just some 4” Amazon silencers that can be bolted on utilizing a hole that’s already in the bottom of the tips.

Yeah that too but without cats it doesn’t sound very good IMO. Under a load at lower rpm it’s very snappy/raspy.
