- I may be pulling some fire from the English Pokemon 151 product, but what will happen when I open my first ever Japanese Booster Box? The odds of hitting a really good Secret Art Rare are quite low, so let's see what happens!

im english but live in thailand and i got 4 packs of 151 online from a seller and got a masterball leftovers and an AR, just ordered a sealed box from them i cant wait

I was surprised to see the print lines in this one since I didnt pull any print lines in the loose packs that I bought. It could maybe just be the box. Its happend to me with boxes but mainly in centering or cut.
If you’re getting them without print lines you are super lucky. They are incredibly rare in my experience. Check my recent live stream where I opened more to see what I mean
What are some American websites you can buy reputable sealed Japanese Pokémon booster boxes?
It's okay you can say the Charizard SAR is lame lol, I thought I was the only one that felt that way. Also agreed 100% the pokeball holos are wayyy better. Might start collecting those myself.
Yeah idk, when a caterpie illustration rare looks better than a Charizard, you know something’s wrong lol. I just don’t like how aoomed out he is. I understand it “connects” to the charmander and charmeleon arts, but I like it when the pokemon are a bit larger on the card, and if they’re bot, at least have a beautiful background (like venasaur).
Nahhh there’s plenty of those types of Charizard cards. This one is extremely cool and the fact it connects with the other two is what makes all three lines awesome.
Do agree of the poke ball/master ball holos though. Bummed those didn’t come over.
My personal favourite SAR's in 151 are the poliwhirl, dragonair, bulbasaur to venasaur, Zapdos and Psyduck
I opened my first box today. Happy with my pulls. I got Mewtwo as my masterball card, it looks flawless and no print lines so think it’s in for a chance at a 10. Got Alakasam ex as my ultra rare and then I got snorlax, caterpie and wartortle as my illustration rares.
Some good reverse holos as well but almost all mine except for the master ball had print lines which was disappointing

I really like the poke ball cards compared to US. Too bad about the print lines though.
The printlimes are horrible, but when I researched this issue it seems like 99.9% of them have this problem so at least I know my box wasn’t unlucky

Do you think these will be worth a bit like the 1999s originals? I've been watching u since u were starting up over 10 years now your still going strong I'm surprised your place isn't full of stuff now
They wont be anywhere near as expensive as original base set, but the japanese Masterball cards are likely to retain quite a bit of value since you only get one per box and many people are going for a full set.
