HOP Team Theodore's First Show

HOP Team Theodore went to our very first show!!! Our goal was just to get exposure and experience with a new show environment. Theodore far exceeded our expectations. He handled the new, loud, busy environment extremely well. His great mind and good nature shone through so bright. He is the first horse in a long time that I can honestly say that I trust to not do anything dangerous. Theo’s trailer loading has improved. He stood tied to the trailer quietly with and without the other wonderful pony that went with us. He rode around the show grounds with curiousity. He met new friends, horse and human. And he completely WOWED me in our Ranch Pleasure Walk Trot class. I’m not kidding when I say that he is GREEN. We hadn’t even practiced the difference between normal trot and extended trot. He absolutely nailed it! And his STOP, whew! I was so proud of his confidence, transitions, and purity of gait in the class. Theodore has never disappointed me when I present him with a new challenge. We are so blessed to get to know him and spend time with him.
