  • My pantry drives me nuts and I'm sure I'll re-organize it a million times before I'm happy with it.
I am trying to find ways to organize it without breaking the bank on a million cute matching containers (as much as I love that idea).
*Also, update: the new container made my brown sugar hard as well as I'm still on the hunt for a good, air tight container for brown sugar.

My sister thinks the same thing: it doesn’t have to be perfect: it just has to work: it just has to let her open it without chips falling on the ground, it has to be easy for her eldest who is nearly 4 be able to put things back and be able to find his snacks with them on his level and have the stuff that he shouldn’t have at certain times and the 5 month old shouldn’t be putting in her mouth high up. She basically saves her diaper boxes which are her biggest boxes and uses those for all of her can goods, uses medium sized Amazon boxes for cereal, smaller sized boxes for pastas and then bought one container each for baking goods, and one carousal for grab and go snacks. Everything else like Oreos and alcohol stuff and things that are dangerous and shouldn’t be used at the moment that can be digested goes up high, the stuff she doesn’t use often such as the ice pop maker, toaster, ninja blender, and ice cream maker: she has a built in cabinet on the bottom and that’s where that goes. Juice boxes: for to go snacks but the pouches don’t fit in her carousal and they always fall out: so those just stay in the box unless he wants it to be cold and then she puts it in the fridge and has him wait there for 15 minutes. baby wipe refills packs: the actually tub container just sits on the kitchen counter. she uses baby wipes for more than just bottoms: sticky little boy hands, the high chair, the baby girl’s face and surfaces. Along side the step stool and the fire extinguisher. So not perfect like you said but it’s functional and that’s what matters. Nice video and it looks great to me. It’s like you, just like my sister: worked very hard with what you had and what you knew what would be functional and work best for your children so they know where things are and can help put things back as well! Great job
