There is no filter when I speak to Him, since He knows the truth, I need not worry about wasting His time or Him getting irritated or judging me.....I just talk to Him.like I would a friend. And I never want Him to leave.

Chan is so childlike in his faith, as it should be; this type of preaching is essential. You see joy in face, body & his heart is so open. Do you want more of God, or time on the computer, in the mall. We are a culture saturated with every seduction & everyway to be a slave to sin. Almost everything Satan uses to distract us, telling us there's more. This was a spirit opener for me, were does my help come from, it comes from the Lord maker of heaven & earth.
Children are pure, humble, and obedient. We need to be like the CHILDREN of God

Knowing Him is our greatest gift, and unfortunately it is a gift that I often walk away from in the midst of all of the busyness of life. The scary thing is that sometimes ministry gets in the way of the pursuit and desire to just be with Him and Know Him. Thank you for the reminder.

Oh My God, God bless you Francis this message is very powerful. I was feeling so very down yesterday/today. Through out yesterday I was feeling like committing suicide. I know is a sin. I had some many problems in my life. I thank you God, for sending your son to die for me and taking away my sins. All I want right now is you Jesus Christ. He is enough for me for now.

I love how he always glorifies God in every message I’ve ever heard from him & pushes personal relationship w/our Father over religion. May God keep him & bless him as he blesses so many others in bringing the Word of God to many & keeping it real. Glory to God in the Highest!
God knows exactly what u going through and how you’re feeling at that moment. One time I was moving grass at the church and I forgot my water at my house. I was thirsty, sun was blasting , hot scorching day. Some guy I don’t even know comes up too me and asked me what do you want to drink? I was like wow, God is so good. So my point is this trust God and he will send the help on the way.
Lord in you I find freedom

To know that such a holy man of God still has to wrestle with certain feelings and is still able to turn from them and get back to God gives me back the hope I have had. Would people be laughing if he was giving a play-by-play of how he was tempted to commit adultery? Why are some sins/temptations chuckle worthy to us and some are revolting? Shouldn't we all be revolting about all sin the way that God does?
It's a fantastic message, and I Love Francis, but this thought just crossed my mind as I was amusing about his Monday weakness. May God reveal the truth to us.

Yes If you know God personally you dont need a preacher!! God is your teacher!! 1 John 2:27 He knows everything about you....no man does!! So of course I learn from God!! Preachers now a day sound like actors/fake! They're still learning themselves! and too dramatic! No miracles,just talk and drama! God is miracles!! No offense, but I'm trying to learn the bible. If we are supposed to follow God's word, why is this woman addressing the men in this crowd? I mean the word of God says in 1st Corinthians 14: 34, "The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says".
Have two or three prophets speak, and have the others pass judgment. For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted; for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. Or was it from you that the word of God first went out? Or has it come to you only?

It's better to read the full part in the bible, I left out some verses for shortness' sake (but that doesn't mean I don't think the rest are important)
So I think as you read the verses you mentioned more in context it seems logical that by " women's submission according to the law" Paul meant that a wife shouldn't judge his husband's prophecy in public, so that it won't become personal, and they can better talk about it in private anyways. And if we saw a wife act like that with her husband we would truly have to agree with Paul in that he can't stand it. What makes this interpretation believable is that he still talks about prophecy after this, so this part about women must not be unrelated. Even if it the real intentions were muddied in translation, or he didn't word it perfectly.
Btw Paul is the one who talks about how women can take the same roles in church as men do in 1st Corinthians 11:5. So it's a clear contradiction with how some have been interpreting these few verses you mentioned.
