I agree. Jane is such a Karen. She takes photos of the house and tries to sell it against the Maitland's wishes but as soon as she finds out they've died, she sells it before they're even six feet under. She even takes credit for all the decorating which just shows she's as much a liar as she is a Karen.
If Jane took photos of my house and asked me to sell it, I would be calling the police and have a restraining order sorted so she could never be anywhere near my house.

Beetlejuice represents the risks Hollywood doesn't take anymore. I'm sure this was a crazy pitch meeting. Such an original concept and presentation. They would never touch it today.

I will admit, the seance scene always scared me as a kid especially when the Maitlands rapidly aged to the point that they looked like dried corpses. You do feel sorry for them though as they were about to be exorcised when Otho ended up accidentally turning the seance into an exorcism.
