I can't believe that a person outside the state of Manipur who is not belongs to any community of Manipur can understand the real facts and the history of the different tribal communities and their conflict and the struggle they are fighting for their identities along the border specially the major community the Meitei that the Kuki tribes blaming as ethnic cleansing. The Kuki don't know the brotherly treatment that has been given to them by Meitei . They should know it will bring peace and harmony for all the tribes in future. And they don't know the brutality of the lungi wearing militants from Myanmar they will eat them all if they don't give treatment timely with the Meitei. You have support from lots of people from the mainland. The problem is our mainstream media is only interested in sensationalizing the situation and do not go into depth of it. And the opposition parties are only interested in discrediting the BJP government at the State and the Centre, so they take the sides of the Kukis. What Rami said as possible solution is exactly my viewpoint as well. Either include the Meities in ST list or give them the legal rights to buy land in the hills. Then stop the infiltration, destroy the narcotics business and paralyze foreign influence. Also Meities should realize that Congress is their enemy as Nehru abolished equal land ownership rights for Meities by not including them in the ST list. On the top of that he gave free pass to the Christian missionaries to convert the tribal people to Christianity.
One Jati that is still hindu in NE despite remaining in "excluded areas" is Karbis and Dimasa jati. Khasis are fighting against Church for a century. This jati is the first jati that had first taste British brought evangelists

Hello . I don't have idea about karbis . But it's Dimasas who are undoubtedly fully hindu. Who have their version of khap,don't practise the inter gotra marriage are martial ( the assam rifles than assam levy was first formed when British took away the dimasa Kingdom by doctrine of lapse but still rebelled and killed a major of British army . As a result of it seeing their mental ,physical prowess they heavily recruited them in assam rifles ). If u look at records you will find almost villages of villages of Dimasas being recruited heavily( go to assam rifles records and history you will find ). I had 4 generations of family person serving and have served the Indian army .
Batao ! And we r informed in recent time that only meiteis r only left in north east as a non abrahamic tribe . Nice to know here that there r other group of people still exist who follow their natural culture.
Actually the karbi tribe has its own version of Ramayan which is known as sabi alun .

Missionary Alvin was the guy who recommended the division of these states from Assam region and creation of these 7 different states. He also banned the entry of Sadhus sants to these areas and allowed only missionaries to work on these areas. Guess what he was also the favourite person of our blunder boy lehru 🙏
Bruh, Manipur wasn't part of Assam. We had a kingdom dating back to 33 AD and till now there is still a king.
Among the seven sisters of NE, Tripura and Manipur were the only 2 princely states. Others disintregated from Assam.

A fact: Britishers used those officers who had proved "conversion score" to be posted elsewhere. Britisher posted officers from Manipur to Mizoram.

In the early 50 years missionaries had 25 converts. The speaker is forgetting khamtis and singhohos the jatis that the missionaries (American Baptists) had first contact. They jatis raided and attacked mercilessly. The Britishers had to change twice their location.

Why aren't the Kukis speaking out about poppy cultivation? I recently watched an old video where the Chief Minister displayed on a large screen how the hills' landscape was completely destroyed after poppy cultivation. They even concealed the poppy plants under large mustard crops. My point is, if the Kukis are truly safeguarding the area and taking care of the forest, they should have a strong voice against the Meiteis. However, that is not the case. Moreover, the hillsides where they planted poppies have been completely deforested. Without the Kukis engaging in poppy plantations, the government's attention may not have been drawn to the issue. Merely because acquiring or owning land in the hills is prohibited does not mean Kukis have the privilege to spoil the enchanting hills of Manipur.
Bro, you think the kuki people support poppy cultivation? Yes, some people from the Kuki community may be engaged in this, and so are other communities, but that doesn't mean all kukis support it. If one Muslim guy rapes a hindu girl, you don't go and fight with the entire Muslim community, do you? Please don't give it a communal color to poppy cultivation because every community is involved in it and the kuki community does not support poppy cultivation. The kuki community would want anyone involved in this illegal activity to be caught and punished regardless of the community.

Mam,, I heard your video carefully. It was excellent n knowledgeable one. What I want to suggest, is why don't our Government taking sensus(जाति-जनगणना) throughout India, so that we come to know every caste's representation n then give them reservation accordingly.

Shakespear (Shakespear 1912) and C.A.Soppit (1893) to indicate the migrants refugees from burma and Bangladesh into Manipur State, Nagaland, and the North Cachar Hills of India.
