Oh boy I would love to go out and play on some nicer roads with one of these, but I'm afraid what we have for roads round here would break its' back. Only a very few roads I would venture onto with it and they are always busy, busy, busy with commuter & commercial traffic. Sides I'm a big fella @ 6'4" before multiple back surgeries & 6'3" after! ;) 250 - 260 lbs "seasonal"! Have had a Sprint 26 since 2013 with 1.75 touring tires, its' still a blast by mid summer usually running a 35 -40 mile per day average @ 16 - 18 mph... But it's bumpity , bump, bump, think I spend as much time airborne as on the road!! Still a blast though!
I always love me some 700 . I like some of the changes although I do prefer the minimalist look of the older version . Yes a better park brake is nice but the cable looks like it may get in the way of the Arkel bags which the 700 looks good sporting .
could you show in a video how to get a Catrike Trail through a regular house door, it would be very helpful to me and many of my friends are having the same problem.
Hey do you guys sell just bare frames? I'm a MTB builder who is considering building my first Trike. All I see is kits and full trikes. I really just want to build one from the frame up so I can learn and then offer these to my MTB customers.
here is a question for you which no one seems to be able to answer. which is faster, the Cat 700, or the ice VTX, bearing in mind different people ride at different levels... let's assume the same guy is riding both.I have the VTX,but have not had the chance to test the 700
love the look of the seat. not a fan of the rear brake. cant really afford the weight on an already fairly heavy machine (compared to a diamond frame bike). why bother adding a park brake when a velcro strap weighs virtually nothing. i wish they would make efforts to really pare the 700 down to say, 27lb
The 16 inch front wheels were much prettier, that back parking brake is a waste of time when you can get locking brake lever for the front. Also this should have a geared hub in the back.
Saving as we speak Matt!
Love the white frame!

What’s the best/fastest two wheel recumbent in your opinion?
How much does this trike weigh now? Are everything you mentioned on this particular bike standard or options? Cost?
