Kemeri Resort Park. Beautiful places in Latvia

Kemeri Resort Park is located in Latvia, in the city of Jurmala.
In 1838, the first water and mud bath was opened in Ķemeri. Since 1839, the well-known Riga gardener Karl Heinrich Wagner has been designing and equipping the landscape of the park free of charge. At the end of the 19th century, a large-scale reconstruction of the bath began, and channels and two ponds with artificial islands were dug in the park.
During the First World War, the resort was badly damaged. In the 20-30s of the 20th century, a water tower, a rotunda pavilion on the "Island of Love" were erected in the park, and the Ķemeri hotel was also built.
In the 90s of the 20th century, the resort fell into disrepair. And only in 2021, a large-scale reconstruction was carried out in the park.
