Excellent tutorial, my rail runs on 2 foundations I found if I increased the roundabout to 8x8 and did everything else you explained it worked perfectly. Thanks.
how did you make it work? i cant do it
This is a perfect tutorial thank you so much!
This was legit perfect. Thank you!
Thank you for this guide! This is very useful indeed and very easy to follow!
I'm gonna fix my intersections after this. Thanks mate 👌🏻
Simple tutorial, easy to follow. Thank you!
Thanks Lukas, Helps alot !. Now i am a smarter human !
Thanks for making this video! I implemented this roundabout in my build. Works very well. I made a time-lapse of it on my channel and credited you in the description.
Thank you! I'm completely new to trains and this new train system so this helped me so much!
This video saved me from going crazy. Thank you so much
Really useful video! I used it in my base and it looks amazing! thank you for the tutorial!
I just unlocked trains, this will be super helpful.
Thanks Jace, helps a lot
You talk so calmly
id like to see more
way to 100 subs lets go :D
perfect tutorial... thank u
good tutorial!
Thanks so much for saving me from the spaghetti
Awesome tutorial! I don't suppose you know how I can accomplish this when building on circular placed platforms? I used the mod "Perfect Circles" and I want to build a roundabout on it, but the spacing is different from the traditional because of this.
I have my train system as left hand drive, I reversed the signals from this one but they dont work, the train just gets stuck and stops
One thing that was driving me nuts was this (taken from the wiki);
Error: Signal loops into itself
"This error means the signal failed to divide a block, even when no loops are present. It can occur when, for example, two unconnected tracks are too close to each other and a signal is placed on one of them."
Not one of any of the guides ever mentioned it and I placed my signals the exakt same way, moved my rail a bit and suddenly everything started to work.
Could you do a video explaining when you’d want to use each signal type? It’s very confusing
Usually Block signal
Path signal is usefull to have when a block has multiple paths that can be use without collisions
Exits always have block signals, Single entrances always have block signals, Multiple entrances have block signals IF there's only 1 exit, Multiple entrances AND multiple exits (like in this roundabout or the official signal reveal video) you may have situations where two trains can exist on the block (entrance signal to exit signal) but not on the same path. This is where your entrances become path signals as triggering 1 path signal only triggers the other signals if the train in the block actually plans to use that path whereas triggering a block signal will always trigger all the other block signals as they define the same block.
Super video určitě využiju ve hře teda zatím se pořád učím o kolejích takže by se i hodilo mít nějaké rady od někoho kdo to umí

AND this tutorial work in update 6 !
Train-a-bout
trains will collide cause they have large invisible hitboxes(
you need two foundations between rails centers to be safe.
I tested this design for almost half an hour and there were no collisions 🤔
Coffee Stain patched that one foundation collision bug. This spacing is now safe to use again. 🙂👍
This is premier tutorial
hard to build. Lot of space and no advantege to standart cross road
Am I the only one who can’t get this to work? I’m tired of rebuilding them
Can you specify your issue?
@@lukasbilek4208 When I go to connect the main track to the roundabout, they are facing the direction and I can't seem to figure out the issue. I have rebuilt this exact roundabout three times now.
wasn't really useful didn't get the stepping part
I didn't find this helpful because I'm now even more confused...
F 😬
This isn't a roundabout as a roundabout whole purpose is to eliminate traffic lights, which you have added.
The "traffic lights" only tell trains to stop if the space they're trying to enter is occupied. A normal roundabout acts the same way; you cannot enter it if other vehicles are in your way. Satisfactory requires that we mark off sections for it to work that way though, otherwise it allows trains to collide. The "traffic lights" are not on a timer, so it is a roundabout. Trains will never stop if the roundabout is empty when they arrive nor will they stop if the trains inside it don't intersect their path. Think of them as special yield signs that tell the game how to handle merge areas, not traffic lights. Overall this will incur much less delay than a real traffic light, which is why roundabouts are good both in the real world and in Satisfactory.
