Isn't there some way to leave the bark on? It would look so cool (imho).
There could be a way with epoxy, but it would be difficult because it's so brittle

You should definitely use those Nano products blacktail studio has to pop up the great boards you do , nice job!

U should reverse cut the giraffe on a different lighter or darker wood n press them together so it makes the “cut out/ picture” pop more

I've seen you shouldn't sand wood above 240 since any finer and you clog the pores and make the finish not soak into it, does black walnut have finer pores or are you doing something to mitigate that issue?
Very pretty. But the giraffes are tiny for that size board. Looks out of place.
