Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway is an under-construction 701 km long, 8-laned controlled-access expressway.
It will be Maharashtra's longest and India's fastest expressway upon completion, with the maximum Speed Limit of 150 kmph.
It will connect two capital cities of Maharashtra with each other.

150 km speed limit is scary. Even here in US, we don't drive that fast despite having the best cars. A tire burst at that speed can be a death sentence.
I don't think you are aware of Indian expresways quality. Search Agra Lucknow expressway, Yamuna expressway or Delhi - meerut expressway. they are super even roads, no waviness while driving even at 200kmph
Autobahn in Germany has no speed limit.

@@VishalKumar-og7hl Germany has very strict exam for getting driving license. They are one of the best drivers in the world. In India, you can get license without practical by giving money.
@@SS-rh6ke You are not allowed to drive in wrong direction on expressway. Cameras are installed and heavy fines are charged. DRIVERS are bad which I accept but many precautions are already installed on these roads to make it accident free

@@nawintiwary That will be entirely in Maharashtra, so no problem. In Mumbai Ahmedabad project farmers are not given adequate compensation and why should Maharashtra govt. or taxpayers pay half the amount when only 30% section is in Maharashtra.

Just for Info total toll will be : 1160/-.
Speed limit is 120 kmph for Light Vehicles and 100 kmph for heavy vehicles.
150 kmph is Design speed.

This one actually follows international conventions of design with wide median , lane separation for exits and entry, and obviously higher speed limit.
Longer length and more lanes doesn't automatically mean better. Delhi Mumbai expressway is very basic in design and alignment compared to Samruddhi Expressway which takes inspiration from Autobahn

@@MyHeramb I live in the UK and trust me, most motorways here are not designed like this, it is VERY rare to see a large central median (mainly just a divider here). They’re upgrading motorways here rn and they had to acquire more land and move earth just to add an extra lane to each side.

Plantation on the road sides is lacking.... Attraction of the roads would be better with trees on the middles and the each sides.
This will be done after road construction is completed.
Heavy machinery movements,vibrations and dust will kill plants if they are planted right now.

Not eight lane. It's a six lane access controlled expressway.
@3:34, median is 13.5 meters. There is an edge strip of 750 mm on either side. So if we include that too in median then it will be 15 meters. ROW is 120 m in open country, whereas 90 meters in hill section.

Now a Nagpur Raipur expressway needs to be made so that it would extend with Raipur Visakhapatnam expressway which is under construction. This would connect the most important west coast port city Mumbai with the most important east coast port city Vishakapatnam therby increasing trade and connectivity.

Every village adjacent,town touching highway can reach mumbai,nagpur,& all towns on highway in less time than before,so much time saved,ease of transport is gain in many aspects,it's economical gain,property prices rise,shops,hotels,garages,restaurants,business is augmented,so it's big gain.
Since more than 1 lakhs trees will be cut Plant some trees along the expressway so it looks more soothing rather than deserted look.

It's not easy in konkon area
On konkan topography is different and difficult with lot of mountain. But it is still possible
Update : NH 53- Dhule to Amravati is under construction for 4 Lanning 60 % work is completed.
2 years back, travelled on a sleeper bus on this route, my back still pains.
What two years back that time there is no road .
