My review of this resource management, set collection & tableau building game where the market changes every game. Also the only way to refresh or add tiles to the market is to play a specific resource which can be used to throw off your opponent!

I think in the (translated) rules, you are limited to 5 resource tokens and 2 ankh tokens (plus uncovered warehouse tiles), and you get 1 point per 3 tokens you have at endgame.
Thanks for the review! I also noted that the box is smaller and the components are well-packaged together compared to Splendor's oversized box with lots of empty space. And MSRP is $25 to Splendor's $40. I also enjoy Ancient Egypt-themed games, so this one is a definite addition for me. :)

This seems to be just a poor Splendor.

It has some similarities, but definitely feels different.

It's a great entry point game to interduce to family or your other half.

Me and my wife play this, she enjoys it, I always think I'm missing the trick or not quite getting it, but I am, it's just an OK game I guess.. Not very exciting?

The Shogunstein NY is still better than the revamped original

what a pass. Oh boy, Space Cowboys, please support Elysium and Via Nebula and Hit Z Road with expansions. You're letting your most unique games die. Dropping the ball as bad as Days of Wonder. Ankh'or and Orbis have been so forgettable. Yikes -- On a more positive note, Thanks for the review, Dan! Your reviews have informed likely over 60 or 70 of my purchasing decisions over the years. Thanks!

@@kruskisking2062 It's just so weird to NOT put out an expansion for a game like Elysium, which is just asking for expansion content for the missing gods and actually has a good chunk of people requesting it (many even pledging to Kickstart it if it ever came to that).

Why support a game if the customers are not supporting it via buying? Why is weird that they not put out an expeansion for a game that not sold well? Man, i mea i love the game, but it's so obvious from the lack of support, there would be no market for it.
