Could you explain why vegans don’t eat cheese or other animal products that aren’t meat
@@Adude- dairy products come from animals which are usually mass produced and just as cruel as meat
@@Adude- this is something that can be found with a simple google search and this guy has probably answered this question too many times before. The long and short of it is that every person’s reason is different- some are dietary reasons, other’s’ are personal moral standards, and others still are for ecological reasons. Meat and and animal byproducts are bad for some people, make some people sad, are bad for the planet in many many many many ways, and/or a combination thereof. If you want more info there is lots to be had on the internet with and easy search
Thank you for being a vegan that shows why and does not force on others to become vegan. I also love how you gave respectable reason to become vegan. I myself am not vegan but do enjoy watching this channel because of that. :)
I really wanted those slugs 😞
I tried this hack, but I'm still depressed. Love this dude tho!
196 likes but no comment, lemme fix that
It's 213 likes now and two comments
If it ain't broke...
Hi sill depressed im kiwi
@@kiwimothat5971 if you don't ovulate... U wastin your TIME!
With the bread you're almost halfway there to a German Frikadelle (German Style Meatball).
Just add in some yellow mustard, ketchup, one vegan egg, diced onions, garlic powder. Form some meatballs, press them so that the top and bottom is flat, bread them with breadcrumbs and fry them like Burgers.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frikadeller?wprov=sfla1
informational comment, thank you
@@adsasd7907 My pleasure.
@@LoweDistortion what the- I didn't even notice that, impossible
Wait, since when do vegans lay eggs?
When you're depressed, just take a swig of nooch! It helps. 😁
So true
Yeh B12 for the brain & nervous system!!😃👍💕
I like to snort a few lines of nooch before starting my day.Depression gone.😅
Can confirm LMAO
Nobody’s gonna talk about the first part
I am
You just did!
I'm out of nooch and haven't bought any because the price has increased by $2 to $3.
lol i can't say nothing cuz i do something similar.
@@TheeBurgerDude Hey bro! I’m not vegan but your food looks delicious, keep it up
Burger Dude is clutch as they come! ✌🏼🍔
OMG I'm gonna try this!! Before I went vegan, the only ground meat I liked was meatloaf or taco meat mixed with bread crumbs or oatmeal. Any kind of "loafy" meat!! 😍😋🙏💥👍
I add a block of tofu to one of those packs and it makes softer and gives more bulk 😊
My mom dose that because she never ate meat before. And I mean Never she doesn't like the texture of it. So she normally hates vegan Byond meat.
I do that with the burgers for my family too, it's hard feeding a family of 6
Love your videos. The style, the creativity, the sauce!
Imma use this for my normal burgers, thanks man
Heisenberg became Heisenberg in this video.
I use refried beans with no lard
My Dumass was flabbergasted for a sec when he said “meat” but I ducking realised how stupid I was and it was vegan meat
Drinking the nutritional yeast straight from the jar. I get it
At least I know I'm not the only vegan who eats nooch straight out of the container
Lol, the beginning 😂
Dude, you absolutely rock. Thank you holy shit
I do this all the time, I enjoy the nice crunch that it adds
POV you find he's drinking yeast at the start💀💀
yeast is vegan???
Yes lmao
I do this with all burgers. Meat or not. Not only more burger but also more crunch.
I’m not vegan and I don’t really plan to be all that soon, but god dang, all the recipes on your page look amazing!
Pro tip..you..kinda don't have to be vegan to eat vegan food
you dont plan on having empathy? That sounds depressing.
@@WhyAreWeHere2023chill
A lot of dishes are naturally vegan and as a carnivore myself I find myself craving black bean burgers constantly
@@WhyAreWeHere2023and that’s why people are turned off of veganism. That attitude right there. It’s very self righteous.
Ever hear of the phrase you catch more flies with honey than vinegar?
I thought I was the only one who did straight nooch. 😂
I think that’s the first time I’ve seen you not size the burger to the bun. 😂
We all do, just nobody wants to admit it. And you don't need to size the burger to the bun when the "bun" is inside the burger. 🤔
@@BeesAndSunshine I made the comment because TBD is always measuring whatever is going into the bun to fit the bun size. 😄
Waltuh , put your beef away waltuh. We are vegan now waltuh.
I wonder if this idea is from Emmy. It’s a good idea, though.
George Motz! But it’s from the depression.
This dude is probelly a good friend he respects meet eaters to
I’m just playing . I’m not vegan and actually like your channel
We called these “Gramburgers” bc my grandmother (who grew up in the Great Depression) always made hamburgers this way. In fact, I assumed this was just how burgers were made. My husband was very confused when I asked him to get out the breadcrumbs so I could make burgers.
Imma be real. Sometimes I eat the nutritional yeast straight out the bottle raw.
Bro looks like when you try to draw v sauce
Thank you--As I have a family history of Cancer I need to avoid the pesticides, Heme and IGF-1 in meat and especially the BLV in beef so this will help soooo much
I wish they sold them in my country at a reasonable price 😢
first one to comment and love your videos dude. you're an awesome chef.
Some times this dude just blows my mind with how realistic the meat looks.
They are actually quite expensive even they are just plants
Well theybdo cost more material and labor to make but I don't think they should be more expensive.
Underrated channel
Around where I live there's a similar style Burger. But instead of the bread crumbs we had flour.
The depression is hitting early this century huh? Jokes aside, I love seeing depression era hacks. So useful
Economical💰 and 😋🙋🏾♀️🙂
I eat meat but this dude makes vegan food look amazing
Man this video is so cool, straight old timey commercial vibes
I like how he’s drinking nutritional yeast. Nice in joke
Or you could mix in some tvp and vegan egg
I love the recipe history lesson content!
As an argentinian, this is interesting. It would be useful if i could purchase that little bit of meat, and bread...
what does you being argentinian have to do with ANYTHING
@@eepyvoneeplestan Have you seen our economy last 20yrs?
@@MineScape_Marvels oh, its starting to make sense now.
My vegan idol 🙌
My mom makes regular burgers this way too, she says it improves the texture. Also she wets the bread if it's too dry
That’s how we make our meatballs. But we also add a bit of garlic and milk.
I'm made out of 🍂 leaves.
I’m not vegan but I respect the hell out of you! I love your content!
If you cook lentils and add them to the meat it works
Really great trick!
Looks good 😌
$3.98 for a pound of Beyond at the Walmart near me! Worth looking for those with arthritis who can’t do all this extra kneading!
The French: *Sad Revolution Noises*
Hey I have a question what dairy do you use when you’re making bread or pastries do you use almond milk or do you use another ingredient
Yeah, any non-dairy milk, but some definitely work better than others. I like Ripple (pea protein milk) because it has a good amount of protein and that seems to be better at binding in my experience.
@@TheeBurgerDude thanks
Please never say extending your meat ever again 🗿
Especially if its vegan💀
🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
I think gluten free food costs too much and is potentially more important due to how common it is to have an intolerance/allergy/auto-immune disease to gluten.
So basically taking a meatball, and making a burger out of it? That works. I'd probably use crushed saltines to avoid having big hunks of bread. Saltines turn into powder lol.
Yeh I used to crush saltines into meatloaf & taco meat, before cooking ,- - it makes a much more delicious final product. I like the unsalted whole wheat saltines.
It's not really meatball like in texture. It's really like a burger with tasty crunchy bits. I like the bigger pieces of bread, makes for a more varied texture. These are deep fried often too, I kinda want to make a long video exploring all the different variations.
Coomer enyoys soy burger
"Old timey hack for our new timey depression" 😂😂😂
Thank you George Motz for teaching me about burgers
ngl, thought this was a tutorial or something on how to make vegan meat and was confused how putting regular meat with bread crumbs made it vegan lol
This has got to be the most chill vegan i've ever seen.
why, because he does not tell you that you abuse animals?
This is a great idea!!!
I'm not vegan myself, but I appreciate your channel and your cooking tips. Plus your philly cheese steak is pretty good
My vegan kids genuinely do eat nutritional yeast like that
1920s and 2020s the breadcrumb hack saves your cash
Good vid thanks
My girlfriend is vegetarian, I would love to do some of the stuff you show here, but we can't find this vegan meat you use here in Brazil
He did just recently make a recipe on how to make tofu taste like beef, you might be able to use that in place of the impossible/beyond

I'm not even vegan but that Bragg yeast is pretty damn good, it's just kinda hard to open the lid after a while.
I’m gonna do that!!
Is that why we used to put soaked toast in our patties? (Frikadelle)
Was he just about to eat the yeast?
Yeast isn't an animal product, no?
@@NigarIsHere No. It's A Product Used to make bread
@@boltzii3810 ohhh, you were talking about the start of the video!
I was like, "Huh I wonder why he found the yeast in the bread weird to eat?!"
It didn't even click for me that it was just a bottle of yeast at first, lol.
@@NigarIsHere yeah "THE START"
I'm glad i found a way to extend my vegan meat.
How does this help with pre-existing vegan burger patties?
I would swim in nooch! Did I share too much?😂
No, but how do you swim in a powder?
Uh yeah 😁
I love your glasses!
Can this be used to extend actual meat?
No.
I don’t know about that

Eastern european school cafeteria hack
My American ass went to shotgun shells when he said slugs
I wanna expand my vegan meat too :'D
I thought people just did this with salt crackers for burgers
or just make some pattys with things like beans/tofu, cheaper and nicer!
Infinite burger glitch
For a second I thought he was going to plant a meat plant
straight to the hips
What bread do you use?
I chug nooch like that too!
Im not vegan but im gonna have to try this some time it looks delicious
Sure, saving money is nice. But that crispy, flavorful bread crumbs has me wanting to try this.
Why was bro downing a container of yeast.
Ok this guy makes vegan food look good, I kinda wanna try it
You NEED to try the Indian aloo tikki burger! Aloo tikki means potato patty which makes it default vegan and it's one of the most famous burgers in India and is so easy to make at home. Just add some vegan burger sauce and buns and whatever veggie toppings you like and you've got an AMAZING burger at hand!
I’m not vegan but these videos do keep me entertained
Your like a vegan binging with babish
Where do I even find vegan meat
Wish vegan meat had its cost closer to ingredients like meat. Beef uses so many resources but somehow vegan burgers aren't wrecking them cost wise, could in part be from economy of scale.
Definitely it’s also massively subsidized in the US and most of Europe.
My main question is do you have any jackfruit burger recipes? I love the vegan burger from burger king, but ain't a fan of the price.
We’re going back to depression era tactics I guess
