It is fantastic that women’s BMX is getting more of a platform in comps and coverage and it is the best way for it to grow. No - it’s not the same as the men’s elite level BMX given that is a much smaller and an emerging scene within a culture that has not really allowed this to come through for many years (take the X-Games for example and the fight to get a women’s event included).
