- I graduated from USC business school and joined the family business during an economic recession. I saw an opportunity that lead me to pivot our family business from wholesale to retail. In this video, I share with you my journey on becoming an authorized dealer of some of the biggest brands, my 5 pillars of success and how I built my jewelry business to what it is today which made it possible for me to purchase my dream car.

OK, speaking as an old salesman for 44 years, the most important part of this video is at the end, and David you are so right about the importance of direct personal contact for success. I don't care where the technology goes in the future, this will always be the case for human beings. Beautiful store, but I would never rest my elbow on the fender of my 288 GTO even if it's Kevlar!

That’s how I got my first job as a kid everyday I asked Jack are you hiring. And finally after 6 months of asking everyday he said I’ll hire you if you just stop asking lol. We became family he was a great human being and he said I was his best employee. Never give up on what you want no matter what no is never an option in my world it’s just a diversion for a yes.

David, you and I share many similarities. We’re the same age, and our fathers started their businesses in 1965. Both of us started young with our fathers in business and then changed and vastly expanded the companies. As well, we both dreamed in the mid 80’s about becoming successful enough to buy a 288. I sacrificed, worked hard and developed my company over the years, to a point where I sold it last year to a multibillion dollar international conglomerate. Like you, I have built a collection of cars, including several Ferrari’s. Cheers to your success🍻

Hey David, I'm really happy to see you building you're own youtube channel after seeing you on Jay Leno's Garage, Doug DeMuro, and other youtube channels. You're putting out great, unique content and I really enjoyed the videos I've seen so far. Especially this video, a lot of car guys like myself are very interested in learning how you became successful and are able to build such an amazing collection of cars. Also, I made some comments on a video you were in. It's been a while and I cant remember if it was one of your youtube videos or on Instagram, but I mentioned the audio quality and said that it was hard to hear you. I'm glad you didn't take that the wrong way and accepted it as constructive criticism as I wasn't trying to be rude, and you even replied and said that you would try to do a better job going forward. Your improvements are really showing in your newer content. I know you're a very busy guy, but if you keep uploading videos on a regular basis your social media will surely grow.
Indeed it's a great story! I hope now while I am in this age( 41 years old) I can do something successful and made my kids proud of their father 😔
It's never too late man. With time and effort you can still be really successful and a good father. Just remember to always put your family's priority first, and falling back to ground zero is better than falling below your starting point.

What a great thing to be able to hear that story first hand. I came here for a Ferrari owners perspective, a real one, and had a class on work ethics and entrepreneurship. It totally deconstructed my prejudice. Also, the way he talks of the cars as an investment, one can see he has both feet grounded up. What a gem of a channel.

What a powerful story David. Integrity and humility are your hallmarks and they have taken you so very far.
Great hearing your story. Dealing face to face is the best way to deal with someone. I could do some deals just as easily online but if I am selling something or myself I jump on a plane and meet the person face to face. I fly to LA, NY, PARIS, anywhere and meet them. They always appreciate it and after that internet is fine. Trust is a big factor and the best way to get that is looking into someone's eyes.
