- Sadly due to the recent game I don not see their being a potential new game in the series unless they go with a full on reboot but who knows.

Still hoping they realized their mistake and make it a 1v1 game.
I played dissidia in Japan Arcades when it came out there and I was immediately confused as to why they would make it a 3v3 only game.
Although...and hear me out on this one. I kind of enjoy the fact that you could actually go 3v3 , heck even a good 2v2 system would've been the bomb " and I wished duodecim had something like that because me and my spouse would've loved that"
But they ruined it...they ruined it and it left me speechless and disappointed. Too bad they don't see the potential this game has/had and would still have if they played their cards right.
I agree 100% I didn’t mind the 3v3 aspect of the game and honestly I want to say a 2v2 would work or at least have that as a mode! My main thing was I want a super fun story mode!
i must agree. it honestly felt weird, you can look it up but the Dissidia NT Arcades "i think it was the Atari Arcade, but not sure anymore, we hit alot of arcades in 2017" had these weird controllers. Took me a few 100 Yen to get used to it. But it was fun, even against 3 computer players "there was a way to play against other players inside the Arcade i believe but it was only us 3 so we smashed some cpu and it was hella fun combining attacks and it felt like a good thing. but the moment we realized there´s neither a 2v2 or even Solo mode we immediately stopped caring and ...uhm instead played alot of Dragon Ball heroes afterwards haha.
It is sad but i really hoped that the Console Port at least had a way to give us a decent story and Single Player Choice... such a shame.@@mastrplay3r
As someone who got heavy into Duodecim 012 Dissidia, I can definitely say NT was a shit stain on the franchise for all intents and purposes. I agree that 012 should at the very least get a remake for Switch and maybe Steam but I'm not holding my breath. I'm pretty sure SE was trying to ride on the coattails of the 3v3 Gundam arena fighter that was out at the same time, but unfortunately fell flat on their face and the fanbase died for SE's sins.
With that being said, hopefully enough fan support goes into Stranger of Paradise and that whole universe that we can eventually get some sort of Dissidia-esque content from that or even the ability for the fanbase to create a custom game mode that resembles Dissidia. One can only dream.
Time to go back to emulating 012 and re-mastering blodging for the nth time, lmao, thanks for the inspiration to pick up (the good) Dissidia again my dood! Cheers
