I feel that humanity is what is at the heart of these stories rather than just the plot details.

Charcters are so interesting everyone has their own pride or ego
their own self drive and the events they go through change them.
What I love about this what-if is that it can be told as a story by itself and not just slapping some recently introduced powerups out of nowhere.

You know what I find interesting, how Super Saiyan 2 is basically a prototype version of Ultra Instinct, Ultra Ego and Beast Gohan. For Gohan, both SS2 and Beast were unlocked in a fit of fury. For Goku, he was shown having full control of SS2 whenever he used it, a lot like how ultra instinct was meant to be used. And Vegeta's SS2 was revealed when he was a Majin, a point where he returned to his old, egotistic self. I want to point this out if you want to implement Super Saiyan 2 more prominently in this what-if.
I think you just like SSJ2 a lot, and I don't blame you as I too like the form. Could be used more, which I did appreciate Super for.
That’s definitely an interesting analysis on SSJ2, it’s such an under utilized form in stories and the main series. I have some ideas regarding SSJ in this series that I’d love to share once we get there :)
@@ProfessorChimpYT Underutilized? It is probably the SSJ form with more screentime between SSJ1, SSJ2 and SSJ3. It is still used even in super from time to time.

I love how this is diverging from canon. Plus Goku picking up on flight makes sense to due his knack for mimicking Ki techniques.
Here's the thing though. With how the original Z Team is playing a bigger part, and there seems to be a heavier focus on skill over power, is it possible that the King Piccolo saga will lead to the humans keeping up with Goku? Maybe Kami wants to train all of them.
Thank you for the support! Goku in early Dragon Ball already had a habit of mimicking opponents moves. With his further understanding of Ki control earlier in this timeline, I thought it'd make sense for him to pick flight early too!
I do have plans for the Earthling Z-Fighters in this series but that'll be a secret for now!

Oh, that's a nice change here with Goku been able to beat Tambourine here with a Bending Kamehameha and a nice team up of Yamcha & Tien beating Drum. Although now with King Piccolo coming, this will be a harder fight for everybody for sure. Anyways another good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.
For sure! With Goku being around with his friends and everyone being stronger, things are easier for our heroes at first…but now, things are about to get a whole lot harder!

Regarding the Foresigjt idea, I don’t really have much interest in doing a story where Goku has this particular power. However, I AM still interested in using the idea of Goku being able to see the future, just not with Z-Bardock’s version of foresight. I’ll see if I can make that a video for later this year

Interesting the idea that piccolos corrupted brothers where mutations through the abuse of the namekian dragon creation technique is an neat idea.
The official term given by the Daizenshus are "Dark Vassals". They aren't technically pure Namekians but I always figured they had Namekian characteristics in them
