hooligan 55 -the word greaser is an insult to all rockabillys and rockabilly mechanics. The correct word is rockabilly. The best rockabilly movie out there.
Jesse Navarrete oh fuck off they were called greases because they were hot rodder bad boys in the 50s rockabilly is a music term which wasn't even around back then besides doo wop tf out of here boy
Well it is Robert Gordon. Have no idea who this Eddie Dixon is. This is kind of a remake of The Wild One with Marlon Brando. In the sense that it is about bikers who need to wait for spare parts in a small southern town, and things get to a boiling point. Fab movie, with great music!
I can't begin to thank you for this. Been searching for it especially, but anything else from the soundtrack since, I believe, '84 when I rented the VHS. Was a huge Robert Gordon fan and was bummed that he wasn't recording anymore new material at the time. Wow, still can`t believe this. Thanks again!!
The full soundtrack is available on CD and on a vinyl reissue. The OST album was released after the film came out but copies never seemed to make their way to the UK, and I've never seen an original. Try eBay, or Raucous Records in the UK. It includes Relentless, and Robert Gordon's Calypso17 Theme, Goodbye Baby, So Young and I'm Dreaming Of You. It also includes Wasting My Time, but I'm sure I read years ago that the version in the film is not by Robert Gordon but by Marshall Crenshaw.
yeah great, but its missing the best bit: the guitar solo after Vance says "so what's a bum got to do to ride this thing?" And Telena says "turn the key" {great guitar solo}
@TheMTFUJI3776 I did an auto translation of this and it says you wrote: "The a a a a which you search!!!!! " "The bruise a it does!!!!!" I'll go along with that!

Rest in peace Mr Gordon and say hello to Danny Gatton and Link Wray for us ....
