At first, when you said you weren't sure about this one my heart just sank! I was just screaming, look at it again!!!! Lol! Lol! I was totally mesmerized watching this piece come together. I honestly could not take my eyes off of it!! It's a special one Sarah. It is.

This is by far one of the most amazing pieces of art I have ever seen! When you said that it looked more like a cavern in stead of angel wings, you were on the right track ... and that is what makes this piece more precious for me, because when I look at this piece with the white part at the bottom, this in my eyes are "Moses parting the Red Sea". The white part is the sea floor of sand and a few rocks. The blue in the wings are the "cavern walls" of the parting sea water and the gold represents the Majesty of God's power keeping the walls of sea water apart to form a dry path for His people to walk through and escape from Egypt❣🙏
REMARKABLE! I believe it looks like some huge planetary cavern... with a pool of water at the bottom... and a meteor storm in the sky above it (white space)... dropping rocks into the cavern. STUNNING!

This is stunning! I love to see you create and change a bit, and continue to create.
I feel like too many artists think they have to fill the whole space, and there can't be any negative space but sometimes it needs to be left alone, as the negative space adds something special, and prevents it from being too busy.

One thing you just can't do is preconceive what you might want to do this was a gorgeous painting and the negative space was necessary because it will draw your eye to the beauty of the other parts and I like the way the blue is running into the white and I love the blue on the bottom it's terrific!!!

They’re all beautiful! That’s the consistency I like the best, so I stick to techniques I can use it with, bc I get so much mud, especially when I mix Floetral. PS, I followed Mina’s lead & got little strainers at Dollar General that sits on a cup, or canning jars, which I use a lot bc I have cases of them!

I loved the other artists work and did one of them and wanted to do a lot more of those. But after I saw your work and looked at the others I lost the appeal I had for them. I was going to write you and comment on your work but I couldn't find the words for what I wanted to say. Incredible doesn't start to describe what I think of them and want to try and do each one of them. Thanks for doing these and sharing them with us.

I rarely even do “practice pieces” on canvas, I just use card board bc I know I’m not going to ever do the same thing twice! If it’s not mud, I’m happy!

It's gorgeous - like rocks on a beach...
With the white at the bottom this becomes a glacier retreating from an arctic landscape under a starry sky. Freaking AMAZING!!!

I Love this one too! It has such depth & I love how I'm at the bottom of the cavern looking up! Now I see why mine didn't turn out similar to yours - it's because I don't have the white saturn gloss paint yet. Well that's only 1 reason of course lol!

Great tip is to purchase the Flotrol and never throw away the old flotrol container and strain the new product into the old container. That way you know that it is always good to go.
