It always makes me sad to hear you have to leave and go to work. Those colors are so pretty. What you call about yourself slow, I consider cool, calm and collected. This is a soft, serene piece of art. Stunning.
I agree with you Nancy, I believe all women should be able to stay at the home and let the men go to work. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I have just been in the workforce for 25 years and I’m over it! I would rather stay home with my kids and paint, lo.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this piece. About a 1000 years ago I took art in school, loved it. Hated the art history component and discontinued my studies because of that. I’ve regretted that ever since. I’m attempting to teach my niece and nephews they need to have some form of creativity in their lives. It’s work like this that makes me reconsider getting back into it again. Maybe I’ll get into skillshare.com and record my journey. Lol. Can’t imagine there being much of an audience however.
