That was my favorite part too. I usually just "cry laugh" at every aspect of these videos (and i rarely laugh at anything, including comedy movies & standup... but this humor is up my alley). But this got me thinking deep, philosophically and psychologically, about the nature of these gents. Their pureness. They essentially do everything that I, and everyone else - THINK to do... but "fight off" to avoid seeming "dorky". Like, our "dorkiness filter" would stop us from looking TOO proud of ourselves for something, even if we do want people to notice and be amazed... because we know we'll get clowned on for it. We learned over the years - through light bullying, social norms, media, and just general observation of the world around us - that certain behaviors are "cringe", or mess up the vibe, or result in getting made fun of. We, as a result, adapt to this reality over the years - despite our instinctive, internal drive to exhibit such tendencies - to assume a "less bullyable" demeanor. That, or we WILL exhibit these behaviors, but only in specific contexts, where we know it's socially acceptable. For example, we may intentionally OVER exaggerate our pride or excitement in certain situations, because we know it's cringe, in order to, in the event we're made fun of, pull the "bruh I'm just joking" card. What I've noticed about individuals of this nature (in the video; unsure what the formal name of the condition is), is they simply never develop that filter. Sure, there is a wide slew of other traits one can point to; namely, a very youthful, child-like character (I mean no offense whatsoever). But there is an utter lack of "doing that could get me clowned on" thoughts. No fear or tentativeness to exhibit & externalize all their initial feelings. And the result is such an unadulterated, pure, genuine existence. One that I'm quite jealous of. It's likely why I enjoy being around these people so much. Especially when alone - ie., just them, no "normal people" observing. I just feel so free. I can relate to them so well, I feel like one of them & they sense that & become quite trusting of me.
