France, best country in the World to see riding a motorbike. Always worth getting off to walk around the many old towns and villages to enjoy the history, culture, food and coffee. Great series, cheers.

Did you know what was awaiting you before arriving at Carcassone? What a fantastic place that is and if you approach it from Narbonne, It looks so imposing and majestic up on that hill. Love all of that region, eastwards through the Provence to Aix-en-Provence then up to the parc naturel du Luberon. Looking forward to many more episodes of this tour.

I would of got the deck chair out and opened a beer while watching others set up tent hahaha i have actually done in the the New Forest No one beats me a tent set up haha Its even more hilarious if htt with a sudden down pour lol To be fare I am not a fan of city riding either I can imagine Jays expletives were some thing like "what the fairies" lol Your awesome vids always make us chuckle lol Your channel some times gets talked about in the Victorai Biker bar in Coalville lol Loving the tour so far! :)

Hi Charlie...as usual a good relaxed watch, the only thing I do differently is put the foil blanket under the tent...you can get multifoil layered ones....they really make a difference ...but cant find a link to share.

Vlog bringing back some good memories. I cant believe how clean the towns are. Immaculate a far story from here, beautiful old buildings and character. Didn’t see a charity shop or people sat indoorways.
That's a good point, I think on my travels I only came across one person of no fixed abode.

shame about the Carcassonne footage, did you know the inner castle was where they filmed Kevin Costner's castle scenes and the whole thing is a folly from about the 18th or something century, enjoying the series, bringing back a lot of memories. Happy Days.👍

So pleased to watch this vid Charlie, as you've nearly done the same route we did 5 years ago including Oradour, Carcassonne and Biarritz ! Only difference was we weaved our way through the Pyrenees upto Biarritz and had a brilliant time at the Wheels and Waves festival totally by chance, we lost three days !! 🤣🤣🤣 Love what your doing sweetheart, keep it up and take care.....🏍👍😎

What did you think of Rocamadour ? I spent 2 days on the aire at the top by the chateau, last april 2022. It’s the place to buy pate de fois gras, apparently. Did not buy any! Great videos Charlie. I can see a second trip in the future.!!!😊
I liked Rocamadour, it's a shame it's a bit touristy, for example the restaurants that have a view of the cliffs pit their prices up according to the view!

It was a fair bit of riding Sandy, but definitely worth it. You could always take a night ferry to north Spain and ride up through into southern France. 😊
@@restdayriderWasn't the Magic Roundabout a French production translated into English? The South of France is fantastic on any kind of bike, I rode from Bristol to the Mediterranean 3 times in the 1990s but on a bicycle, it's a bit slower ...,

Luckily I didn't. Jay hit an awful diesel spill on the outside of a village on a roundabout and very nearly came off, luckily his 40 years riding kept him in the seat.
I say this in the nicest way possible Rogers legs are shorther than yours, so it takes him a while to strech them. You did seem to attract a reasonable amount of rain

A bit random Charlie, but your wander around Limoges brought back a nearly forgotten memory. I have been many years ago now to Limoges and whilst there i bought some beautiful porcelain bowls and plates it's famous for producing. Then a few years later i met someone and we decided to go travelling in a camper van. She not long after decided the the Limoges porcelain was to valuable and fragile to travel with so she replaced it with some thick chunky & very purple things from a pound shop. As much as i didn't like it, especially the colour, i did understand the logic so off we went traveling. A few years later after we'd driven all over the UK, Ireland and each other bonkers we slit up. When she left she not only left me with that lovely purple 🤮 pottery, but she also left with all my Limoges porcelain 😲. I trust your visit to Limoges will leave you with fonder memories lol 😂.

It's ever good to lose footage, but in your inimitable style you found a way to make light of it in the video and add a bit of humor to an otherwise unfortunate situation. Check out the DJI Action 4 camera, if you haven't already. I have a feeling it's going to be a big disruptor in the marketplace, and wake-up call for GoPro.

I do enjoy your content I thank you for that. I am the age of 65 have been Running since I was 14 years of age, Have given up two wheels and put three wheels at the moment riding a Can am Spyder. I have been contemplating on buying a ural with Sidecar, have you ever considered three wheels.? ( I must admit I do miss two wheels from time to time ). Anyway what's your opinion on three Wheels imagine the stuff you can carry then. So just wondering of your opinion cheers dirty socks.
Hi! I do like the Ural, they're quite a popular side car combo in the UK and I often stop and have a look at shows. Maybe one day, when Im a little more experienced and less 'yay I'm a biker!" I'll give it some thought, imagine the animals and lit I could carry!
