Thank The Universe for Steve Hartman!!!! He's certainly got the appropriate last name. Heart-Man.
I threw away my wedding photos, after my divorce. I got rid of every single thing that bonded us, except our kids and the love letters he wrote me when he was boot camp. I decided to read this again, after 10 years of divorce. It was weird and lovely, at the same time. I saved them for my kids to read, when I'm gone from this earth. They don't know it yet. I just want my kids to know that they were created in a moment of love.
The story about the man who knew one thing -- that he had to buy flowers for his wife for Mothers Day -- is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.
I know, right?!
that story brought tears of joy to my eyes.🤤
Is the wife still alive? Someone should continue it
@@lukew7901 YES!
Okay Charles and Louise’s love story got me right there y’all. ALL THE FEELS. 🥺♥️
In seventh grade a boy passed me a beautiful love note. That was 1962. I saved it. We were married in 1968, but divorced in 1971. I still saved it. And recently I gave it to our son, so he knows that we were once deeply in love.
Steve please keep these coming. You are the greatest journalist with the most compassion. Thank you.
I just love💖💖💖 Steve Hartman ❣️
How can your heart be happy and break at the same time? These stories are wonderfully poignant, worth shedding tears while smiling. Steve Hartman is a national treasure.
Steve Hartman has a wonderful heart and personality. He is so approachable. A gifted man.
These were all beautiful stories but the goose one got to me the most. Amelia knew where Arnold was and visited him daily, flying off across the lake together at the end. Such a tear-jerker.
The story of the kidney transplant really got to me. My husband was on dialysis for nearly 4 years before he went to the Lord. He never made it to the transplant list, but he always said when he finished a job, it was time to move on to something else. I think he had checked off all his "jobs" before he left me, but he's still in my heart and dreams every day.
I'm so sorry for your loss. As long as he is in your heart and mind, he will keep living.
Ohhh
I’m so sorry for your loss, but happy for your wonderful memories that live on.
In your dreams letting you know he's still with you--the ones where you feel you physically touched him are the best ❤
@@chrissigrigsby871 Yesterday was the anniversary of my first date with him.
Steve Hartman, a National Treasure!
Steve Hartman is the BEST ❤️
The men featured in this piece are true Stand Up Guys! Wish there were more like them around.
I love all of Steve Hartman's pieces. He always brings the best in human nature to light. Love his kids too.
Omg I'm balling my damn eyes out. This is the lord working his finest miracle. Thank God for love!!
that second story is so sweet
This needs to be a weekly show/ weekly tv magazine like 60 minutes,, we need more positive stories, we are awash in toxic politics and negativity. We need more love and light
I agree 100%!
I agree wholeheartedly! I could listen to Steve Hartman for hours, and use a box or two of tissues along the way. He shows the good side of humanity which needs to be shown more.
Absolutely! This is like Chicken Soup for the Soul.
Steve Hartman can be seen on CBS Friday night or CBS Sunday Morning
Amen.We need more of this!
This man is a man beyond man, how can someone think to give part of thr vital part for someone? He’s honestly selfless
Awwwww - The Widowed Man’s story was heart warming👑👑💕💕 plus the Husband who searched for a Kidney for his Wife Awwwww💕💕
Two of my favorite ❤
Steve, 2 stories in the episode almost brought tears to my eyes, well did, I to am a transplant patient, my wife was my first transplant coordinator. Now were going's g pm 34 years together. The other one was the story about the man with Alzheimer's, it made me think of my late mother in law, she passed from Alzheimer's disease. She was amazing to me. Thank you for doing these 2 stories. Robert
love all your stories Mr. Steve Hartman.
What fantastic love stories ! And told by Steve to boot. Simply fantastic.
Wow, I don't know which love story was my favorite. They were all amazing. From the man who donated his kidney to his future wife, to the man who was lost but insisted on buying flowers for his wife, to the man determined to find a kidney for his dying wife, to Mrs Goose, who visited her recuperating husband, Mr Goose. They were all wonderful. I cried when I saw every story. Thanks Steve Hartman for sharing.
Steve Hartman has had me in a vortex of tears and happiness
I remember these stories. Still brings joy.
Steve Hartman, you are a treasure for bringing us all these wonderful stories! I enjoy them over and over again. Thank you!
I'm so happy I found this:) I hadn't seen Steve's segment on CBS Sunday Morning for a couple of weeks and was actually worried about him. At 65 years young I've been watching 'On the Road' faithfully for well over Steve's 25 years! No matter what this is always a guaranteed smile ~
✌🌷
A Marines service to country never ends. Lucky for this Marine, his gift of a lifetime came back to him a million times over. What a story. Semper Fi 🇺🇸.
Wow! This goes to show you that there is a higher power at work in our lives 🙏🏻🕊🌈
LOVE Steve's stories! If appropriate and approved by Steve's wife & the CBS team I would love to see how his children are growing I so enjoyed their Kindness series.
Awww, Charles 💔 but he seems to be doing well. How sweet
Quote of the decade…..”It’s AMAZING what’s possible…when love becomes an instinct.” Steve Hartman, simply profound!!!
Just a reminder to stay happy and healthy. Health issues can hit anyone out of the blue. Wishing you all a blessed day.
I absolutely love Steve Hartman and the stories he shares with us. I know every time I watch him I will end up in a puddle of tears but I somehow feel good after watching his story. Thank you for being with us every Friday evening. ❤️
I was In the marines and I cry everytime I watch this that's why I been single for 3 years ....don't tell nobody though I guess deep down idk .
If I ever need a pick me up or just a random shot levity, Steve Hartman always delivers. I enjoy his segments so very much - and have my two young daughters sit down and watch them with me. It’s heart - happy journalism ❤️
Steve Hartman you do wonderful stories thank you many years come . I hope you do more stories and best thing CBS did Steve allow tell your story. Great video's keep up good work.
I have some old love letters from a girl I dated in high school. She and her fiancé were killed in a car accident five years ago. They left behind two little girls. And I did consider disposing of them, many times in fact. However, how can I do it now? They’re a connection to someone I cared for who is no longer here. Some people think that holding on to things like that keep you in the past and prevent you from moving forward. I hold with those who think that it’s just nostalgic. It reminds you of what you had and keeps you from forgetting where you came from. And in some cases it gives you something to hold on to.
Those two cops that helped that nice old man pay for his wife’s flowers should live a long prosperous life.
Omg, best love story ever. (Liver transplant. ). When he said he was the groom, I put my hand over my mouth in shock, then in joy.
This was a much needed story! My dear husband died almost ten years ago and the situation in Ukraine has me quite upset but this post has raised my feelings greatly!!! Grateful!!!❤️🌹🌻🌻🌻
What beautiful stories! 😍
Another weepy day thanks to Steve Hartman!'
My husband and I of 15 years are getting ready to move. In our attic he found a box with a newspaper that says “This is war”. I wasn’t sure what it was. Then underneath were my “war” love letters from my marine boyfriend during the Iraq war. I was 20. He was 22. I said, you are my person, but I have to keep war love letters. He agreed. This is why I love him so much. It is history…..and my history. And he embraced it. Another reason why I love him.
Sweet. Lost my husband last week and am indulging in happy stories to ensure that sadness doesn’t set in, this helps.
Condolences, friend. Hope you have still been wading through the sadness. But it's okay if you can't stay strong all the time--just be kind to yourself. Best wishes!
Unbelievably beautiful, Steve Hartman❣️
His stories never get old. I wish he would come back more often. Thank you Mr Heartman👏👏👏
GOD BLESS THESE 2 COPS 👮♂️ ARE SO AMAZING, 👏 WONDERFUL, CARING, GREAT, 👍 TO HELP THIS MAN WITH THE FLOWERS 💐 ❤️ 💐❤
This is like a cool oasis in a desert of cactus thorns and blazing relentless heat. I love seeing people behave selflessly because they understand that love isn't a commodity you run out of, it's the goose that lays the golden egg.
On the last story about Arnold and Amelia, geese are migratory birds and return to the same spot in Canada and here in the US. When their young are ready to fly, they follow the parents here to the US. I live in Phoenix and right mow you can go to almost any park in the area and you will see(no pun intended) a gaggle of geese. Multigeneratioal flocks. The best place to see them is in Tempe at the town lake.
Steve, you are a bird of a different color! You are just the absolute sweetest. Thank you for all your wonderful stories.
You make me cry, you make me laugh but most of all the stories make me HAPPY. Thanks, keep happy stories coming.
Wonderful Steve! Thank you for the positive joy you bring to us all! You have a true gift, Sir.
Oh, Steve - "Did he buy, at least?" You are a national treasure, sir. I never walk away from one of your stories. Just the best every single time.
I remember watching these as a kid when Charles Krolt started them. I still watch them whenever I can, even though I have missed a few years of them. Keep up the good work, Steve, and as long as you're making them. I, along millions of other people, will keep watching
The story of Larry's search! What a way to encourage others to donate organs.
I watched it again through my tears.
"Tear-inducingly” precious!
Those officers are awesome.
I love Steve Hartman!!!!!!!!
I shed some tears on teh second story. I remember hearing it on the news
I have watched your stories since you were in MN. Your stories always touch my heart. Make me smile and make me cry. Keep up your awesome work!!
Alley cry my favorite show in the whole world
Steve Hartman is my favorite storyteller of all time.
Thank god for Steve Hartman national treasure
I loved this!! After watching this, I went and got my parents Brach's Chocolate box..but wait this box is 65 yrs old and certainly no chocolate could last that long. Inside are my parents love letters after they got married and before I was born 5 yrs later. My dad was such a romantic man. I shed tears reading again some of these love letters and notes
I'm glad to see these clips. The world needs all these to inspire and recover the love that lives in nearly all of us.
Thank you for all the warm stories
“I saw his heart.” ♥️🥺
