The Farmer celebrates his channels' first year, and reaching over 1,200 subscribers with a look back at some of the diverse videos from the past 12 months. And a big Thank You! to all the viewers.
There are a lot of farming videos on You tube but this one is my favorite. A hardworking Christian man who isn't afraid to give his witness to God's Word and who shows that you don't need all the latest expensive equipment to get the job done. It is farmers like Bill who encourage the rest of us small farmers to keep going amidst all the challenges of old equipment, weather, ect. Keep up the good work!
Just a great channel! Great people with a sense of humor and values. Classic working equipment and cows. What more can you ask for? Keep up the good work.
Love the down home real life farmin comedy and sincerity most of all your love for our lord and creator keep it up buddy God Bless you and yours. Uncle Pat!!!!!!!
Thanks for reviewing the year, and thank you for sticking with it. I like when you show what's involved with growing and harvesting each kind of crop/produce. Keep it coming.
Thank You Sir.another good video.sorry about the negative viewer review.i got the same problem at my house.we could have a pity party but darn it anyway.GOD knows who we really are inside an out.looks don't impress HIM.keepem coming when ya can.
Found you about two months ago and have watched ever since. Love the old school and the humor. Hopefully your channel keeps growing. And I also like tractor church.
Great stuff, Bill. You presented a good year of what some of us might consider the good life. Some history, spirituality, and healthy dose of JD green. I enjoy your videos
Thanks for the feed back we use to live in cn.c back in ind.t was taking care mom an dad. I miss farming. We had the the ol jds I really enjoy your video s bringa back memories. From gary
Hey Steven! Thanks for your honest assessment, l'm glad it's enjoyable to you. There are plenty of channels doing the dry, fact filled, interesting, informative, old tractors, "how we farm" stuff, l'm just doing what l enjoy doing and having fun, excuse me, corny fun, being a bit of a ham. I think of it as a "variety" channel, you never know quite what to expect, if guys enjoy going along for the ride that's great! l'm glad you stuck with it.
Lol I love your videos. Your farm closely resembles my grandparents farm and your videos bring back many fond memories of them and their farm. I spent all my free time there. Thank you
I’m from East Tennessee and I know you’ve been to our great State recently, but I just want to tell you that could live in our community with no one the wiser. Your different and you tread over wide variety of subjects in a easy going no nonsense manner while portraying the life of a farmer. I would really enjoy a video on your manure spreader silage wagon and how it was put together. I’m also interested in attaching the old John Deere loader to the tricycle John Deere. In closing, thanks for sharing your story.
Hey James! We've been looking for a farm in Tenn. for several years, I hope to be down there to look at a few properties in August. 'Course you could help out and find us a100 acres or so in your neck of the woods. Thanks for your ideas.
Doing a great job brother! Enjoy your videos very much! We are hill farmers in middle Tennessee. Grown the same crops in the past that you are growing. Tell Michelle your appearance is fine. You remind me of a former pastor of mine. Love tractor church also!
I find your videos interesting because I grew up with that equipment. And your "Tractor Church" shows your commitment to the Father. Not many you tubers give thanks.
I love your channel I started watching your video a few weeks ago and have been watching whenever I've gotten the chance definitely enjoying the old deeres after watching the 40 combine now I've been looking for one!
Great video, Bill! A little bit of everything! Variety is one of the things I like about your channel. Also I like that you are NOT all spit and polish like some channels are with their millions of dollars of high tech modern equipment and huge farms. You are just a simple farmer and that is a good thing. I like that you are old school which is the way of farming that I grew up with in the 60's and early 70's. I watch quite a few of those big farming channels but I think yours could very well become my favorite farming channel.
Keep on doing what you are doing. Keep the fancy dressing for date nights with your wife. 🤣 We need to see you in your work clothes! Love the content. Tractor church is my favorite!
Like it. 👍 I grew up on the Norzy Holstein farm. Always ran all the iron, then went excavating construction. Gonna retire next yr. Can't wait to go back farming. Be fun to come work w you some day. Keep it going. Nealy from NJ
The first video of your I saw was the cultivating video with that 50 because I was thinking about setting up the cultivator rig on my dads A to do some cultivating on some of a neighbor's corn, that video came up in the suggested. I have enjoyed your videos that I have seen since and am watching older videos in spare time.
I've been watching from the beginning. I love the old iron and your farm is beautiful. As I've said before, it must be nice living that close to heaven. Best regards from Indiana.
Thanks much, it would be close to heaven if it weren't located in the Socialist Republic of Maryland. We are trying very hard to find a suitable farm in Tennessee.
Just happened to see your videos. I enjoy watching you are entertaining but I see you are a God fearing man also. I enjoy seeing the older machinery still working. I'm over in Virginia and I still farm but not full time anymore. I'm a red man but I like green too. I started with a 630 and I have had a lot of different ones through the years a long with the red tractors too. Keep up the good work. Hope you have a good growing season.
Great videos keep up the good work.. I’m really getting in to the ole John Deere’s myself I recently just bought a 720 diesel to restore.. we have always run internationals so the John Deere’s are a learning experience for me.. thank you
Thanks for the kind words. Wow, a 720 Diesel, you really jumped into the John Deere experience with both feet! lt's an awesome machine when it's tuned right, we'd be glad to answer any questions you may have along the way.
Love the review, I just got on to your channel. I have a rare piece of equipment: a Mengele 1 row chopper! It has a 540 rear PTO to unload wagons with. Yes, I said Mengele. And yes, it is from the same family that made equipment in Germany prior to and after WW2. Maybe not the best name to carry on .
I've seen several of your videos and I love the humor. This video was really good. I'm on eastern shore of MD. We used to have my grandfathers 520 and MT but my dad sold them to my cousins years ago so they would stay in the family. I still farm part time but have bigger equipment now.
Hey Steven! Or do you go by Steve? Thanks for the comment, l'm glad you like the humor, l'm just being myself, having fun. l think we'll be at the Greensboro Tractor Pull next Saturday, if you happen to be there and see us, come over and say hi.
My name is Bob Moore from Morgantown, Indiana and I'm a farmer. I love your videos. Like your narrow front end tractors. Would like to see you make a video mold board plowing.
Love your content sir.. I started videoin what I was doing with my vegetables and deer plots. It's truly a lost art. I have alot of respect for you sir
Congratulations, time flies by when you're having fun. I enjoy the pulling tractors. I saw a 4440 pulling tractor without an engine. Are going to get it running? You have a great collection of vintage tractors. Like to see more of them and more of your stories. You should write a children's book about the farm life.
I want to see you, feeding your cattle and hogs and chickens, and whatever else you got, grinding, feed, and a tour of all your machinery, that you have inside and outside, running and not running
Hey Joey! Glad you enjoyed it, check out the other stuff on my channel, l try to mix some comedy in where l can. You might enjoy the "Davidsonvillbillies" episode we did.
That was really funny the James Bond bit you got it of to at tee, then the bit where you got the splash in the face. I really bet your Mrs wanted to be fully on view because she was laughing. I see further into the vid when you are machining pistons & see your pulling tractor, you must now your onion's, don't judge a book buy it's cover. If you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at. Hollywood make come a knocking, not just yet let them sort the pay strike out first, no Ai at you gaff, home grown down to earth humour.
