Holy crap! That is a ton of disassembly just to get to the busbar...of sorts. Installing a light bar should be much much simpler.

Can you still turn the light on with the key off?

No the key has to be on

I thought the polaris bus bar already has a relay installed?

The relay is just so that all of the current draw from the light bar isn’t flowing through your on/off switch. Full power comes directly from the pulse bar.

Why would anyone buy polaris accessories at twice the price.

Well, since it was a rigid industries light bar, not sure what you’re talking about.
