Almost sold on this hotel but no kids For me ! But look forward to staying sometime soon! It’s gorgeous on the inside. Of course when I researched I looked for the negative comments. Heard the food was below average and the ac didn’t work well. So i guess to keep the tropical ambiance the purposely keep the hotel hot! Can do that in August one of the hottest months. So I will be staying at the Royalton chic again this go around! Had a blast there and food was great as well as the service

I'm sorry to hear that someone had a bad experience at Paradisus, though I can't imagine what are those people talking about, I loved the food and everything was perfect with the AC, the staff was very nice, if we have had any problems I think they would fix it right away. Again, I am not promoting this hotel 😅 I just really loved my stay there.

The mattresses on the beds are very hard . It felt like sleeping right on a box spring . Everything else was good . Also not enough free beds around the pool or beach. Same for the buffet restaurant huge lines all the time waiting to get a table and we weren’t even in season 😮

I visited in February, and there were no huge crowds then, though I can see how the chairs by the pool could be a problem, because the pool stretches long and if you don't go early to the pool to find a free chair close to main entrance could be a bit difficult, but I'm sure if you walk further you can find a great chair by the pool.

Hi! For families with kids I would recommend going to Iberostar, there is a quite big Kids Club and a kids pool and generally more families choose Iberostar, so it will be easy to make friends with other kids too also there are more activities throughout the day. Hope this helps!

Hi! Yes, the beach had beautiful blue turquoise water and it was cleaned regularly to minimize the rseaweeds so there were almost no seaweeds. Paradisus definitely has one of the best beaches in Cancun. As for the best deals, I suggest just compare everywhere - their main website melia.com, trivago.com, momondo.com etc. and maybe even search a package deal that offers flight + hotel, sometimes they have very good deals. Though the package deals could be specific for your country. Let me know if I can help in any other way!

Hi! The beach is beautiful and very wide so there is a lot of space and the beach usually is not crowded. But the waves here can get pretty crazy high, so be very careful if you go swimming with your kid. Hope this helps!

I checked tripadvisor forums and they say that they can ask for your card info and if something happens then they charge you or they "hold" some money from your card but even if hotels asks for it, that usually it is no more than a couple hundred dollars.

The pool area has been upgraded since this video. It is really beautiful with hammocks and more free day beds
