I was an ambassador back then when they started and looked for expansion in Europe. I was very happy to help them because the product were very good quality and some friends were astonished by the sound quality. Same goes for Anker Motion Boom for example, it's worth a JBL sound wise, not the same max volume but longer battery life.
I'm very pleased to see Samsung/JBL FINALLY delivering a JBL Clip that is worth, hope the battery life is good!
Perhaps the price will drop but the Micro 2 is in the same range with lesser audience.

I actually have the JBL clip 4 and 5. JBL signature is Best outdoors, actually these speakers are best outdoors. You can adjust the EQ and make it sound better than any other small speaker

I like the same speakers - I use them for in travels. I'm retired Army and I saw the JBL 4 for $20 off at the Navy Exchange at the Naval Air Station for $50 last week so I bought another one. I didn't know about the 5

Stormbox all day! It's way louder than the JBL and sounds just as good. Stormbox strap system is pretty secure I run with them and it has never fell off. The JBL clip has fallen off many times while running despite the clip attachment.

@Juniscrazy I've had the 3, 4, but not the 5 I didn't even know it was out. Hands down the StormBox for me is better. It's louder, more rugged, better battery life and it has better connectivity IMO.
Yh but if you play the speaker at max volume the speakers blows happen to me two times already. It’s a great speaker but the driver is trash. Now I just use my charge 5 WiFi with a third party strap and Cary it on me like the xtreme
@thugis07 the stormbox? No way I bump them only on full volume at all times. I haven't had an issues I use two of them on party mode or stereo mode. My JBLs give me issues all the time. The JBL clip 3 was better than my 4. The JBL clip 4 has given me a lot of issues down to the build quality. They're both good speakers but from being strictly only JBL I wa surprised with the Tribit Stormbox.
How you gonna say the Stormbox is louder without even owning the Clip 5😂😂😂 you can CLEARLY see and hear that the Clip 5 is louder and has more bass than the Tribit..

Hi Floss. I enjoy your review of JBL speakers and some other cool products. I actually have the Charge 3 and the XTreme 2 and finally bought the party box 310 last October after watching your review of it. there is a speaker series that I would like to see you review it. I got the ONN rugged small Bluetooth speakers and paired them for TWS. I think there are two ways that you could connect multiple speakers together within the rugged series. this one is just $14.88 from Walmart and I would like to see you review them too. I love that the bass is strong enough and maybe you and other viewers may like it too. I don’t know how it would sound like if you connect the rugged series together like the small, medium, and large rugged speakers and have them play in party mode. I got these from Walmart by the way. at this price range, I think no other speakers can be loud and have strong bass like this one. I would be very appreciate if you could review it for us here on CZcams.

I just got two clip 5 yesterday and I don't know if because it's the first time charging it and the volume of course, but the battery life was about 3 hours at 90% volume. It sounds incredible for tge size of the speaker and the stereo sound is terrific! I skated 14 miles with it and no issues at all with the clip, very secure. Nice one Floss

12hr is for 50% volume but it should be a bit more than 3 for 90% volume

@@FlossyCarter Yes Sir. I made sure battery was at 100% before taking it out with me. I ended up charging it on the go with a portable powerbank while playing music, that worked for me.

The JBL clip everytime, until someone comes up with a similar style it might be a competition again. Clip it to your bag, pant loops, pocket, anything and it stays. The amount of bass the clip 4 had was unreal and I hope this jumps like it did from 3-4. It would spin the JBL clip 4 on glass table even with the grips. Which are garbage that does break off overtime. Huge downside to all JBL these lines of bad design that fall off. Planned obsolescence and is fucked, hope they get to fixing that.
They really need to stop this nonsense with glue and silicone that will fall off eventually. The Xtreme 2 had a rock solid base. My 3 year old Xtreme 3 sometimes vibrate itselfs on hard surfaces like cement floors.
For me it is really tribit stormbox micro 2 is da best.. thumbz up 👍🏾💯🔥

In terms of sound, I’d say the clip 4 and 5 are way ahead of their predecessors. I’d say the same about the go 3, the pulse 2, the flip 3, and the charge 2. Those are the models where they took the jump in sound quality. However, it seems the older JBL clip is actually holding up well from a durability standpoint! Can’t say the same thing about the charge 3 with the batteries that keep expanding and breaking the case.
Jbl clip 5 all day! Bought to replace my aging 4. Its a bit more expensive than i would personally pay for but i love jbl products so its a cop regardless 👍

The one thing that absolutely pisses me off about JBL is the constant changing of party cast between each generation. I've got an extreme 3 that I can't use with my charge 4 or my flip 4 and I really wanted the clip 5 to be compatible with it but im.sure it won't now.

No speakers should be tested without the Official Flossy Carter Sound Test.
The Flossy Carter Sound Test really showed the difference between the 2 speakers and the JBL is definitely better. Shame it doesn't have speaker phone, but not everyone uses that.
I see where you are going with that. But for the price. Tribitt can't be beat. Killer battery life. At 3/4 power, which is loud, the speakers last over 12 hours. And you have the option of party mode/stereo mode. You can even charge your cell phone if you have to. Never had a problem with the strap. Looks might not be the best but it has everything else a person could want. Plus the speaker phone
This size of speaker is very good for use in the bathroom or at the side of the bed when your ear gets tired from the headphones, but with this size you lose the depth of sound that larger speakers provide. As for this size, the sound is sharp and becomes more loud and loses the depth of sound.

For more affordable portable bluetooth speaker i go for the tribit, if have extra and more dynamic set up and apps, Go with the JBL

But if you are looking for a budget speaker for casual listening & traveling you definitely should look for Tribit Xsound Go which has more bigger bass & natural sound stage and wider sound. Also it has two speaker which you can enjoy stereo sound. Just only for 35$
