When you had the Glitter Bomb example, could you have sacrificed the glitter bomb card itself as part of the process? The website rules seem to indicate that you could.
Or could you use it to sacrifice the downgrades such as Pandamonium?

Great tutorial. Played this for the first time last evening and its a fairly fun game, but requires some thinking and strategy. I think people who are accustomed to YuGiOh would find this extremely easy.

I have a question about the upgrade/downgrade cards though. For example, the Glitter Bomb card. Is it a one use only and then it is discarded or can it stay in the stable for as long as you want it.
Second question. If you have a downgrade card in your stable, can this be gotten rid of if you get the opportunity to sacrifice a card?

I have a question. If you have a magical unicorn/card with an effect like the glitter bomb card in your stable and you've used the card. Can you use the card again? Does it stay in the stable?
Three questions. Can you neigh someone putting a unicorn in their stable? Do you have to discard if you have less than seven cards in your hand? How do you add more baby unicorns to your stable?
Which sleeves did you buy? Are these the same size as Pokemon/Magic cards?
Wait wait i have so many questions. Every Turn of the player need to draw a card?? also what if the one player has already 5 Unicorns he can put all the unicorn on stable in the same time??
And every player turn will do the 4 phases??

Hey, I still don’t completely understand, if you play an upgrade or downgrade card like for instance card which allows you to destroy other players card and you use it’s effect and it stays in your stable, than on your next turn can you use its effect again or skip it if you don’t want to use it

We are playing exactly the way you explained, but it seems like most players end up having almost no cards in their hands and as a consequence they are typically forced to play any card they draw without the possibility to make a choice and/or a strategy. Is this a common issue in this game or are we doing something wrong?! 😅

Are the upgrade/downgrade cards an one time use? For instance the cards that say “at beginning of turn”.
I think he may have misspoken, as the other tutorials Ive seen all say that the upgrade and downgrade cards also stay in the stable to which theyre played. So, they are not just one time use.

Does the neigh card work if i want to place a unicorn, but an opponent blocks me, the card would be sent to the discard pile?
So the panda pandemonium card is played on player 1. I play a card that allows me to take a card from someone else's deck. If I choose to take that card from the player 1 does that card remain a panda once it comes into my stable?
No, because the pandamonium card only affects card in the sake stable

Thanks for the help we are going to love to play this game often now that we know what we are doing. Question is there a reason why there are only 4 piles in the stable? Does it affect what cards you can steal if it's under another card or something like that?
Let's say I have 5 cards in stable that say "in the beginning of your turn you can...", can I use all of the effects in that phase? And once I use them, can I still use them on the beginning of my next turn?
Yes you can use all of the effects in that phase. And if they are downgrade cards, upgrade cards, or magical unicorns, they will stay in your stable so you can use them again next turn! :)

Yes you can only play 1 card so you have to be strategic about which unicorn you think you should play this turn

Yes you can! Glitter Bomb allows you to sacrifice any card in your stable, including a downgrade card

Which sleeves do you use? Do you know if these cards fit into the standard dragon shield sleeves (for magic the gathering for example) and still fit into the box? Or did you use extra slim ones?

Beginning of turn effects typically happen from magical unicorns, upgrade cards, or downgrade cards. Usually "once at the beginning of your turn, you may...". This means the card doesn't get 'placed' anywhere. It just stays there :)
Can you play this game with just a single deck of cards? Like for example just the dragon version.

Can you neigh somebody placing a card in their stable? Either a “once this card enters your stable” or “at the beginning of turn”…..

An Neigh card can’t neigh another neigh card unless it’s a super neigh card.

Hello! That is actually incorrect. The official ruling by the game makers is that a Neigh card can Neigh a Neigh card. Due to this, it is possible to create a “limitless chain” of Neighs on each other as long as players still have Neigh cards to play. This is exactly why the Super Neigh card’s effect says “This card cannot be Neigh’d” because it is the only Neigh card that cannot be Neigh’d.
Question: if I place a card in someone else's stable, when it comes time to pick those cards up, do they go back to me?
From what I was able to gather, a card returned to the hand goes to the hand of the player whose stable had the card last
Wouldn't it be easier to make a "graveyard discard pile" for discarded unicorns that are not babies?
That way you don't have to spend as much time shuffling the discard pile to find a unicorn.

Can you skip phase 1 even if you have a upgrade card that can only be use in phase 1?
You mean the beginning of turn phase? The rules with this game is that if an effect is mandatory, you must do it. For example, if an effect says "At the beginning of your turn, you may sacrifice a unicorn to destroy a unicorn", then you don't have to do it because it says "you may". If it doesn't say "you may", you must do it and cannot skip the phase

Glad I could help! Yes, downgrade and upgrade cards stay in the stable when they are placed. The only way to get rid of them is when you sacrifice or destroy them (lots of card effects in the game will do this).

Tbh, I've heard conflicting information about this. I think this is something that you and all players should establish before beginning the game so everyone is in agreeance with the ruling. Almost like a house rule among you and your friends
