The way this unfolds into fuzzy, shoegazed-bliss towards the end is utter perfection.

It’s such a lovely tune, well written and performed, filled with nostalgia as its kinda reminescent to me of one 90s hit that I really love - 7 seconds by Youssou N’Dour (more than Radiohead - would love to hear her cover Talk Show Host tho it would fit her style)

Love so many things about the song - swinging beat, acoustic guitar from 1:40 and fuzz from 3:20. It probably sounds weird but I am picking up some Led Zeppelin vibes - When The Levee Breaks etc. It could end up as my favourite song from Nilüfer.

wo.. i didnt' think of that but i'm v familiar w slint. in hindsight i could see what you mean -- prob bc the incessant repeating of the pattern? then the drop to the song structure? these guys remind me of a bunch of my fav artists but still sound so much like themselves. loving it! I'm hoping to see them on the tour this spring
For it to sound like slint we kinda need to hear what the song before and after sound like on the album and how it sits. I can kind of hear it with the fuzz outro and interesting arrangement though. Good shout. She’s so effortlessly gorgeous and natural, gonna be a star for sure.
