especially if that profession is your means of introspection and self reflection
You hunt it every day with aggression
and you're willing to make concessions you normally wouldn't
because you have a predilection
for connection
So if I question where's the next one
It might seem like I'm seeking decompression
But really I'm just trying to lessen the depression
I get from using my transgressions without discretion
as a form of expression
in succession
with the deception
that he the exception
can't get past the perception of rejection
long enough to leave an impression
on those
who second guess him
So is there a lesson?
Yes
There's beauty in imperfection
