  • How to make sure you have connected you boost and vaccum hoses correctly on A VW T4 2.5TDi AJT engine. If you have the intercooler there is an additional hose that goes from the intercooler to the ECU

    Can you explain in detail the connection method of the blue hoses by recording a video?

    The plastic T piece connector on mine has a narrow section that comes down the T. Is that correct ?

    • @DavidJohnston1970
      @DavidJohnston1970  Před 6 měsíci

      I think you mean the white plastic narrow pipe that comes from the plastic pipe, low on the front of the engine that runs to a braided hose going into the dash. if that's the case it controls the air re-circulation valve.

      They’re a mix of 3mm, 4 and 5mm I got 3m of each and replaced them one at a time

    lol. thanks for the vid. I have very little boost if any and the N75 error code came up so i think i may need to change the N75. Is there a away to test it do you know? thank you

    • @DavidJohnston1970
      @DavidJohnston1970  Před 7 měsíci

      Sorry just seen this. You can easily test it by removing it. Put a hose on the top one and then get battery. You can use a 9v. Blow into the hose and connect the battery to the terminals. That changes where the air comes out. If it doesn’t change or comes out of both the N75 is knackere

    Can we see the boost gauge?

      Can’t post pics as a reply, but it’s fitted where the triangle hazard warning lights switch is. Common place to fit them on a late T4. Loads of pics around if you Google it 😊

      @@DavidJohnston1970 no prob. Any idea why gunk has appeared around the area where the hose/pipe connects at the turbo side?

    • @DavidJohnston1970
      @DavidJohnston1970  Před 6 měsíci

      Possibly coming from the hose leading to the crankcase breather valve? The o-rings go hard.
