Losi Promoto MX Mode Issue and Fix with BlueTooth and Dashboard App

- Quick video to solve a self inflicted issue, not a Losi issue. I used the wring setting when connecting to the BlueTooth module and changed the DX3 transmitter setting by accident. This caused the mode switch to no longer switch between Street, Dirt and Wheelie modes. I found in the App what settings i needed to go back too and I wanted to share with everyone as this could happen to you and there wasn't anything I could find yet.

Great! I was stuck in wheelie mode,(not a bad one to get stuck in) and don't know when it happened. Was going to check it today, and saw your video first! Somehow it had switched to 2 latched. I must've accidentally done it, since I never purposely changed anything but servo end points. So glad I watched this. Saved a ton of time and frustration. I'm run @ 40 packs through it, and I love my ProMoto!

Thanks for the tip, my issue after installing this BT dongle is worse: it works fine until the app proposed me a 1.6 firmware upgrade and then I had to re-bind (took me a while to understand that the bind button is on the receiver, not on top of the bike power button), and then all channels mixed up and I have a shaking steering servo, no ESC control and the mode button is controlling the brake ...
I may have the same issue, also accidentally pressed the update button, and lost functionality. How did you fix it? Any tips?

I’m not sure, but I assume it does have a potential if other things were changed before the mistake was made but I didn’t on my end and don’t have any real examples.

I have the bt2000 and my app is updated and it doesn’t have aux pt mode at all. Any idea why?
Do you have a DX3 transmitter? Did it come with a Promoto MX? I think there was an earlier version of Dax3 but the Promoto MX version is slight different. I’m not sure why your not getting the option but I also saw something about a firmware update for transmitters but I think the app is supposed to tell you if there is a firmware update.
Also make sure when your app starts you select from transmitter not to transmitter.
