Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!" - Zábava
They need to include that guy in more skits. He's got way more to offer
BRIAN STACK
Brian Stack's casual jolly delivery of thinly-veiled threats is hilarious. :D
Hannigan has truly fallen on hard times
I still remember the great Ice Cream massacre of '06. In my nightmares, I can still see the bodies... hear the screams. I scream... You scream... We all screamed... for ice cream.
haha
Revenge is a sundae best served..... cold.
"I follow you home I know where you live, theres a big shallow grave in the forest."
The classic.
And then I started the saint valentines day massacre, and dumped them in the florist.
No one does a better old timey radio voice.
Glad to see at least Brian Stack made it back to late night
He used to work for Conan right? Doing the exact same bit..
Was about to ask if that was the same guy from Conan. Question answered!
Love me some Brian Stack.
So glad U mentioned him by name (didn't know it.) The guy is a genius!
I miss Brian stack on Conan😭😭😭
Wiki Bear!
The ice cream business is tough.
Ben and Jerry once dangled the CEO of Häagen-Dazs off a 38th-floor balcony for stealing the recipe for their Trump-inspired flavor, Racist Pumpkin Swirl.
lmao
Hey, a Trump basher! Uh, wait...
Trump wasn't mentioned in the
video. Oh, you do have problems!
It's Hannigan the Traveling Salesman!
I'll never look at an ice cream scooper the same way again...
Didn't that ice-cream man use to be a travelling salesman?
Also a singer in the golden age of Radi-oh
Brian Stack is now an ice cream guy/writer. ;-)
I'd watch a crime drama with that ice cream man in it.....
BRAUNALD GRUMDF EBIN HAS TOO SKOOPS!
If he didn't give everyone in the audience ice cream this bit is a shame :(
Yeah.
That's Brian Stack. You're thinking of Brian McCann as Preparation H Raymond. 😉
GRUMPHHYYY..... 2 SCOOPS?????!!!!!!!.... NOOOOO!!!!!! 2 SCOOPS FOR DRUMPPHHHY.. GRUMPLE GROOO WITH SCOOPS OF TWO!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
That's cold.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
LEAVE
Get out.
oh man! I didn't know this dude left Conan. That accent is so Conan's old time-y accent, too. See? See?
GONAL WRUFF GOTTS DA 2 SCOOPZ EM PEACH NOWWWWEW
Isn't that guy from Conan?
yeah! it is.. you might remember him from such sketches as... (all the old-timey ones)
also 30 rock
Minty the Candy Cane who briefly fell on the ground.
@@canaanhessNo, that was Brian McCann, wasn’t it?
@@ChokeslamToHell you’re right.. 6 years later lol
He needs to put a gag order on John Batiste
Of course in Glasgow in the 80s there was an actual turf war over ice cream, though the fact the vans were also selling drugs probably played a part.
lmao and you think that's not the case in NY?
"I just made that up, that's Jazz." :)
This should be friday night fights!
Brian Stack is my go to guy for yucks! Always humorous, and dark. Just the edge I need to put an all day smile on my face. I'm Wiki-Bearrrrrrrr
I guess Brian Stack missed New York.
I thought it was Conan, at first.
I wish it had been Conan lol
i thought the same, sounded like conan's fancy voice lol
This is Brian Stack that worked for CONAN for 18 years. :-)
He was on Conan. He was the voice of Wikibear
so that's the guy who makes the Trump voice
Brian Stack, longtime Conan writer and performer.
brian stack's comedy fits well with conan's personality.. too bad he left
if craigy furgy was doing this bit he'd say "Mr Softy. Thats my male dancer's name".
This is Piragua Guy's evil twin and you know it
I need to doublecheck, but I think the young version of Robert Downey Jr in CA: Civil War was wearing a Mr Softee T-shirt.
hahaha
I love this
Lol reminds of that episode of King of Queens.
Happened with ours too in gloversville ny lmao 😂
Jon Batiste is such a derp onstage.
OMG HOW CAN HE HAVE TWO SCOOPS OF PAIN
I want those lyrics as a ringtone
Who else already knew about this from that one viral video a few years ago where one ice cream vendor ran into the other one?
Good Old New York 😂
Turf battles can be brutal and I think this needs to stop
Ice cream serial killer should become a movie
It's called Ice Cream Man ( 1995)
Starred Clint Howard.
I clicked when I saw Brian Stack in the thumbnail.
"It's hotter than the islands are tonight, and Mr. Softee 's trying to shut me down, but I keep scraping by the fading light, mi 'pana, this is my town"
I was waiting for him to pull out the bat and got so much more😆
Reminds me of the book The Pushcart War.
Loved the song!
Have they ever met Sweet Tooth?
I sonder what New York Ice Cream thinks of this bit with their logo on the man's cart lol
Christian Holst Hansen we love it !
Fear the ice cream man, it might be Brady Hartsfield.
Brian Stack is a fucking genius
Brian Stack and Brian McCann were both great writers/performers.
one creepy ice cream man ...
And here I was hoping the ice cream man would act like a mobster
Is that guy gluing mugs and sharpening pencils for Stephen now?
Brian Stack is now on Colbert? Coco no 😢
Reminded me of Pizza Tycoon.
Wikibear!!
It’s An Ice Cream Vans Not A Trucks
2 scoops, instead of four scoops to confuse the body, left babe? Am I on the right channel?
2 minutes of setup to get to the bit. compare this with old conan and stack.
Anyone remember playing GTA Vice City on the PlayStation 2 where there was a mission similar to this story?? :P
Except for, you know, the whole drug front.
well that was as dumb as it sounded
Is that Kyle MacLachlan!?
Nope.
OMG MAN
Wow, the only time I actually laughed and not chuckled was when Stack came out.
Goes to show that Conan is naturally funny while Colbert isn’t.
I hear Minty the candy cane & WikiBear 😢
Minty was played by Brian McCann
@@justayoutuber1906But his theme song was performed by Stack.
i love brian
Not the Cold War?
what is wrong with jon batiste?
Go nyc
Brian Stack is delicious
I'd also want to rough those drivers up after seeing that ridiculous logo on their trucks. I know they were going for the 'retro look', but it looks goddamn awful.
what accent is that ice cream man supposed to be using?
That's a mid Atlantic accent that was popular in the US during the 30s and 40s especially among the upper class and in tv and films.
Jaguar Warrior but isnt he supposed to be an angry New York ice cream man?
Brad Lamb It was spoken by the upper class in New York and other parts of the U.S., along with the media in general. It's called a mid Atlantic accent because it sounds somewhat like a mixture of a standard American accent and a British accent.
It’s old timey actor voice.
Watch movies made before 1955
And whammo
That’s the ticket!
Either get a REAL sidekick or turn Jon´s mic off. His comments and his occasional laughter really suck.
Brian's talent is wasted in this show. The sketch could've been better with conan
Please turn off Jon's microphone. For the children.
