I'm curious to see how my PC handles it. Played the first game on a GTX 770 and I had to even edit the config files to turn the graphics settings down low enough so that it could run it at a playable frame rate. It wouldn't render people's heads unless they were less than about 10 metres away. I still enjoyed it though. My current set-up *should* be able to play the new game, but will probably have to turn a few settings down there too. I was hoping to upgrade this year, but have spent far too much already so it will have to wait until next year.

Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor, had a long and successful reign. The Empire he ruled from Prague expanded, and his subjects lived in peace and prosperity.
When he died, the whole Empire mourned. More than 7,000 people accompanied him on his last procession.
The heir to the throne of the flourishing Empire was Charles' son, Wenceslas IV, whose father had prepared him for this moment all his life. But Wenceslas did not take after his father. He neglected affairs of state for more frivolous pursuits. He even failed to turn up for his own coronation as Emperor, which did little to endear him to the Pope. Wenceslas "the Idle" did not impress the Imperial nobility either.
His difficulties mounted until the nobles, exasperated by the inaction of their ruler, turned for help to his half-brother, King Sigismund of Hungary. Sigismund decided on a radical solution. He kidnapped the King to force him to abdicate, then took advantage of the ensuing disorder to gain greater power for himself. He invaded Bohemia with a massive army and began pillaging the territories of the King's allies.
It is here that my story begins...

@@Black_licorice_enjoyer I mean developers can model life-like humans, dogs, cats, birds, all kinds of wild animals but not horses. While horses are so common animals in games. (I'm an equestrian, leave me in peace with my horse ears 😆)

I hope they will add more interactions with horse just like in Red Dead Redemption 2. That´s what I missed in KCD 1 and Witcher 3, the horses were just an immortal vehicle without emotions and needs. On the other hand, the dog was awesome 😁

A little thing I liked about KCD 1 :
There's that vagabond monk that goes to Rattay and Sasau sometimes, And i would sit there and listen to his sermons. I absolutely loved the immersion it gave . Please do add something like that in KCD2.

The way the song changed from major to minor key as the trailer changed from landscapes to fighting was just brilliant!

It didn't change from minor to major. The root chord is still minor. However, the inversion got changed from diminished something (I don't have a perfect pitch) to true minor.

@@Sartian-d1l No problem. I can't Tell you exactly what notes are being played or what exact note is used to augment the first section (I am self-taught), but I 'feel' the changes. The first section doesn't feel like clean minor chord, while the second section does, and it changes the mood. Hope this explanation makes sense

Truly, this is by the far the best looking medieval open world game I’ve ever seen. The geography, to the way the vegetation, placement of world objects just feels so hand crafted and organic

actually they make locations according real locations in Czech republic. You can visit Sasau monastery and it looks like almost same

I don't think so, GTA VI is another level, its gonna be a revolution almost like Red Dead 2 was but even greater, KDC2 is still pretty exciting, but it also doesn't look too different from the first one, the animations and some graphics or models look very similar (maybe even bad), like the vegetation for example, but it looks a hell of a lot better, we'll have to see it when its ready

My mouth just dropped when I saw the draw distance, the landscapes, the amount of grass and the quality of the textures. The first part was very beautiful, but this is just a level higher in quality. I’m looking forward to showing the gameplay!

I like that they are using the swords pommel more than in the last game, it didn’t make much sense fighting heavily armored combatants with the blade only.
I am close to the end of the first game, and I am using sword, which i mastered, only in face to face combat with noble and worthy opponents. In battles with multiple armored opponents war hammer is much better choice, you can one hit in the head or on counterattack (if not in the random high level encounter in hardcore, this guys take 8 to 10 straight hits in the head to down, quite broken). Sad for long sword enjoyers, but historically accurate, as longswords was already at their final breath in 15 century due to development of tetechnology of plate armor, which forced development of more effective blunt/sharp weapons as warhammers
@@RakNeubienniy That’s one thing I’m soooooo glad they implemented, was the loadout system. Beforehand you had to always wear one weapon or the other while traveling(and depending on which one you picked, you were screwed), whereas the new system finally lets you switch between the weapons on your belt on the fly. Fighting more than one enemy and most of them don’t have much armor? Longsword it is, then for the armored ones switch to the warhammer or mace. I can tell that combat is gonna be superb in this game just for that reason alone
@@Gooeygiuseppe hmm, i play on ps4 and can switch weapon right in the fight (yellow indicator)...and switch armor and drink potions with grey indicator (before fight). But yes, the loadout system is one of most wanted systems I want in the first game too. I learned all my clothes for different situations, but loot managment is unnecessary time costing, and switching gear on fly is extremely welcome!

@@its_jo5hu472 I’ve seen some people say that there’s no difference in graphics after 6 years of development, and while there isn’t a drastic difference, I can tell they put a lot of elbow grease in this one after building the foundation for the engine in the first one. I can tell that while they haven’t made it raytracing or crazy graphics, they’ve put more work in making it run better, while increasing draw distances and texture quality. Also, the character models look amazing this time around

I know the first one had some pretty big issues, bugs and bugged quests, and some clunkiness to it, but damn it if I said that I wasn’t still immersed and in love with the whole experience, I’d be lying
I knew that because of the passion and care that they put in the first one, for all its rough edges, that I’d for sure preorder the second one, and sure enough, just preordered the collectors edition today, and I bet it’ll be worth it

It’s my favorite game tbh, it feels like in my adult life what oblivion felt like for me as a kid. That’s the one and only game to do that for me, I’m just glad they didn’t pull an oblivion to Skyrim and dumb everything down to be barebones and boring(at least from what we’ve seen so far 🤞🏻)

Imagine if they appear here and now will have character development like at first going with Henry either for the coin or because friendship and revenge against Markvart and then along the chapters they become more serious and even somewhat respectable to others.
@@mouchomor2627 I know they’ve said some characters will appear from the first game, but I’m really hoping Theresa returns in a way that makes sense. Like they have some beautiful potential romances in this, but I’d feel bad for Theresa because her and Henry had good chemistry, and for my first playthrough I’m doing a “loyal Henry” run. Another group I’d love to have appear though would be Kuno’s band. Their ending was really up to the player, but if they did something like the Witcher 3 where you’re asked questions on what you did in the previous games, it would be very cool to see the Band of Bastards near again

Idk, I liked Theresa but it would make sense if she’s not in the game honestly. Still, knowing my luck, I’d romance a lady in the game and like 5 hours later Theresa randomly shows up lol

Im so hyped, Kingdom Come deliverance 1 is by far my favorite game of all time, to see what kingdom come deliverance 2 may be is just amazing, I cant wait to play it. Its the only game im truly hyped for
@@Traxlar Same man. When I completed my first playthrough of Kingdom Come, I was sad that my adventures with Henry had ended. The first game made me feel as an adult what I felt like when I played Oblivion as a kid, and no other game clicked that button in my head like that before and after. I played The Witcher’s 2 and 3, and so many other titles, but KCD left a mark on me, and I’ll never forget it. I knew as soon as I finished the first one, that I was gonna preorder the second one, because I’ve never been so immersed by a game as much as that. I’ve spent hundreds of hours on it and they were well spent, even with bugs and texture pop ins, I’m all aboard the hype train for the continuation of Henry and Hans’ journey.

@@danfu6280 I think from what the developers said, autosaves and saviour schnapps(now Remedium Savegamium) are more common to come by. As for the peasants master striking, that idk, but I imagine they’ve changed the combat effectiveness to make a lot more sense than the last one. By God the most annoying random encounter in the first game was when 10 peasants would come out to ambush you, they did way more damage than 5 elite bandits with warhammers and polearms 😅
