How did the Texans go from potentially the first pick in the draft to the second round of the playoffs and the 23rd the very next season? I didn’t watch any Texans games but that is impressive! Was it only CJ Stroud? Texans fan please help
CJ was EXCEPTIONAL! Only way the offense let them down was in the running game. CJ had the best YPG in the league as well as TD/INT ratio. Also, the additions of Will Anderson Jr. (Defensive Rookie of the Year) and our beloved new HC Demeco Ryans were huge. They've reset the entire culture seemingly overnight and it's been one hell of a story.
Cj is the truth, demeco coached an amazing defense. Without stroud this team would still be bottom 5 in the league but Demeco did his thing with the defense
i’m a steeler fan who DESPERATELY wants to say big ben is still the greatest rookie QB because he was undefeated as a starter until the AFC championship game. however he had an amazing receiving core. the bus. a tested winning coach. and a brutal defense to backup any mistakes. CJ is just different… CJ has an ok receiving core. good but not anything like ward randal el and burress. singeltary who is mid. a rookie head coach. and an ok defense. if CJ isn’t the best rookie QB as of modern NFL football i genuinely don’t know who would be. it’s exciting to watch

Defense improved a ton under demeco Ryan's. They're kinda underrated this year. Offense let dem down on several occasions
