You always give solid information on the technical side of the sport. I have small hands so I’ve committed to learning the Bagent style toproll, but still struggle with slipping + strap application. If I have someone with a relative size hand neither is an issue, but the moment I’m pulling someone with their hand a solid 2cm + longer then mine I find it’s incredibly hard to manipulate that connection the way Travis describes it as they find a way to wrap around me no matter what I do in the setup. Although it’s not quite the same move your videos has helped a decent bit, I just need more experience. I hope to train with you one day. Cheers from Michigan 💪
I just did it, I think. He moves his thumb back to puts his tendon under a full tension and then moves the thumbs forward while still having the tendon under full tension.
@@DemonPrince69 i've made a dozen or so videos, but had to delete them cause they gave too much away. I'd be happy to answer any questions u have on fb and i think a lot of the table specific stuff u can get from watching me set up
Please post more content. Maybe a video specific to how someone can really dial in the connection in a top roll. I’m a beginner and I struggle to activate everything at the same time. I’ll forget to squeeze my fingers or keep my riser high etc etc
for a general toproll, all you need is table time 👍. if your forgetting to use your hand, your probably too focused on your body/arm. hand should be the only focus point
Well have to video tape it next time. i'd just mess around with really high cup (without dragging your elbow back and hand down). that's the key to getting the move imo
Whats ur meassurements brad like elbow to fingertip, forearm... your hand is like 8 inches exactly if i remember correct? I really like ur style and im thinking about switching to it... rn i hook most of the time unless i feel my riser is atleast 100 times stronger then my opponents.
@@bradgrundy512 thanks Brad. just figured out at my last tournament I need to focus on my hook technique. trying to currently ingrain correct mechanics with it. its naturally my strong movement as well
@@DefineStrength Based on what i can see from your hand size/shape, alizhan wouldn't be a bad person to study. you could also reach out to Paul Linn and see if he'll give u some tips. Ask him about down pressure if you do

new fan here! esp after your match with mask.. Although im a new fan of the sport, is this similar style to Travis's? his seems to be that high posting style like what youre showing here
@@free2rhyme14 Yes but he focused on making a fist, where as I focus more on the connection between my thumb and middle finger. but a lot of similarities
Beats a washed up Matt, feels the need to explain his secret technique to everyone... lol just teasing, I know Matt is no joke. Looking forward to more great matches from you

Always appreciate the tips my dude. Thank you.
Wow I'm dumb I understood nothing
Gonna have to watch a couple dozen more times
it's a hard concept, that only works if everything is in place. If u see me in person i'd be happy to explain it to u on the table.

The dark arts...of armwrestling.
Best arm wrestling channel on CZcams right now.. great stuff!
Congrats on beating Matt! Thats super impressive.
Very interesting. You'll have to come back up to Toronto to show us this in person. Enjoy your trip!
I think Travis talks about these pretty well in his seminars . In my opinion he is the father of the posting toproll
I'd say dave patton is the father but Travis mastered to a level that no ones come close to
I knew you were going to win against Matt Mask, even tough Im a huge fan of him.
Congrats. Sandris is next. 👊🏻
Awesome Brand. Thank you. Good morning from Vancouver Island 🦾
Please do a video on a table. I didn’t understand any of this. Perhaps multiple videos about different aspects of it.
I am intrigued.

I wish I had a better memory because you went in way more depth in person when you were teaching me, I still don’t remember how to do the posture 😭😭
