Kunti camille ji, first of I respect to you. One very important message :- The most important thing is that before keeping an idol of God at home, the height of the idol should not be more than 14 cm (= 6 inches= 8 अंगुल) otherwise there is a high risk that some negative energy may reside in that big idol. That is why you must have seen yourself that before worshipping the idol in the temple, the idol is worshipped as per the rituals by Pandit ji which is called "Pran-Pratishtha" in the Hindi language. The first priority at home should be to just keep a picture (photo) of God and worship it, it is most better way because we hang only those photos on the wall whom we give a place in our heart and if there is a big idol in the house, that is without Pran-Pratishtha, then immediately immerse it in the river. I am not saying the above sentence just like that, it is just a waste. It is also mentioned in Hindu scriptures what precautions should be taken before worshipping an idol. Actually Sister, In India majority of hindus are fake hindus and already have become muslim or christian from inside. For many years, by coming in the company of Muslims, they have also eating goat meat, etc and also participating in the Muslim festival of Eid-al-adha (Bakrid).😢😢😢😢. Majority of hindus does not even know any shloak of bhagwat geeta . Some hindus who are already converted from inside abuses our hindu God secretly. Do not trust more on Indians especially non-vegetarian of present time.
